Ford Territory TREND

Highlights

• 320 Nm of torque
• Panoramic twin slide sunroof standard
• Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) standard

Summary

This 2025 Ford Territory Trend offers a near-new ownership experience with just 15,500 km, significantly lower than the typical 25,000 km annual average for GCC drivers. Finished in Grey—a high-demand color for regional resale—this SUV bridges the gap between efficiency and road presence with its modern EcoBoost powertrain. The Trend trim is particularly desirable in the local market for adding premium glasswork and enhanced safety tech over the base model. For the GCC buyer, it represents a balanced choice that handles both the stop-start traffic of Dubai and long-distance highway cruises across the Emirates with ease.

This Car vs Other 2025 Ford Territorys

With only 15,500 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the expected mileage for a 2025 model in the UAE, where heavy highway use is common. The Grey exterior is one of the top three colors for value retention in the GCC, ensuring it remains a liquid asset in the used market. Choosing this specific listing provides a mechanical head-start compared to higher-mileage alternatives currently available.

TREND vs Lower Trims

The Trend trim introduces essential upgrades over the Ambiente, most notably the panoramic twin slide sunroof and auto LED 'Follow-Me-Home' headlights. Inside, you benefit from upgraded faux leather upholstery and the inclusion of side airbags, providing a significant boost to both cabin ambiance and passenger safety. It also features a dual-zone climate control system, a critical upgrade for maintaining comfort during peak GCC summer months.

Territory vs Segment Rivals

The Territory stands out against rivals like the Toyota Corolla Cross and Hyundai Tucson by offering a wider and longer footprint, resulting in superior shoulder room for three rear passengers. Its 60-litre fuel tank is larger than many in the compact SUV class, extending the range for cross-border drives to Oman or Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the 320 Nm of torque from its 1.8L EcoBoost engine provides more low-end punch for highway overtaking than naturally aspirated competitors.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is rated at approximately 15.9 km/L, offering a cost-effective daily commute even in heavy traffic. Ford's authorized service network is extensive across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with standard service intervals typically set every 10,000 km. While Japanese rivals often lead in pure percentage retention, the Territory has established a strong 61% value retention floor over three years in the GCC, making it a competitive value-per-feature proposition.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged EcoBoost engine, the Territory delivers 190 hp and a robust 320 Nm of torque through a smooth 7-speed automatic transmission. This FWD setup is optimized for urban and highway stability, reaching 0-100 km/h in approximately 8.5 seconds. Four selectable drive modes allow you to calibrate the steering and throttle response to suit different road surfaces, from rain-slicked city streets to gravel-strewn desert access roads.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for GCC family life, featuring dedicated rear AC vents and an air purification system to keep the interior cool and fresh during high-temperature months. The 12-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto serves as the central hub, complemented by a 7-inch digital cluster. A 448-litre boot provides ample space for weekend stays, while the flat-folding rear seats allow for larger cargo hauls when needed.

Safety

Standard safety tech on this Trend trim includes the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), which is invaluable for multi-lane highway driving in the UAE. It is also equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat anchors, and a comprehensive six-airbag system. Rear parking sensors and a high-definition rear-view camera ensure confident maneuvering in tight city parking structures.

The bottom line

For the buyer seeking a modern, tech-forward SUV with 'as-new' mileage and a high-resale color, this 2025 Trend trim offers the best balance of features and value in the current GCC market.
