Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 is a compelling buy for those seeking a rugged, modern SUV that handles the UAE's demanding heat and long highway stretches with ease. As a current model year with mileage reflecting active use, it offers a significant saving over showroom prices while maintaining its striking boxy aesthetic. The white exterior is the most practical choice for the GCC, offering the best heat reflection during summer and ensuring strong resale demand. In a market dominated by traditional Japanese rivals, the T2 stands out with its superior cabin tech and distinct off-road styling. It is a well-rounded choice for families who want a vehicle that looks as good in city traffic as it does on a weekend trip to Hatta.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

With 55,107 km, this T2 has been driven more than the average 2025 model, but this is often typical for GCC owners who commute between emirates. The advantage here is a fully bedded-in engine and a price point that reflects its road experience, offering excellent value for a current-gen SUV. Its white paint is a major asset in the local market, providing the best durability against the sun and ensuring it remains a highly liquid asset at resale.

LUXURY PLUS vs Lower Trims

The Luxury Plus trim is the definitive spec for the GCC, adding essential comfort features like ventilated front seats that are a necessity during peak summer months. It upgrades the cabin with a premium 12-speaker Sony sound system and a full suite of Level 2 ADAS safety tech that lower trims lack. You also benefit from the 'Magic Electric Door' soft-close tailgate and 20-inch alloy wheels, giving it a significantly more premium presence.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the GWM Tank 300, the T2 offers a more refined unibody ride that excels in daily city driving and high-speed highway stability. It features a massive 15.6-inch touchscreen that outclasses the infotainment found in the Toyota RAV4 or Nissan X-Trail. While it competes with traditional crossovers, its 700 mm wading depth and specialized XWD system give it a distinct edge for light desert excursions and rainy season flooding.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0T engine typically ranges between 9 and 12 L/100km, which is competitive for a 4WD SUV in GCC traffic. Maintenance is straightforward with a growing network of authorized Jetour service centers across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, typically requiring check-ups every 10,000 km. While Chinese brands are still establishing their long-term resale benchmarks, the T2's high demand and GCC-spec status help it retain value better than many of its immediate peers.

Performance & Capability

The 2.0-litre turbocharged engine delivers a punchy 390 Nm of torque, making highway overtaking effortless even when the vehicle is fully loaded. The intelligent XWD system by BorgWarner automatically manages power between the wheels, providing confidence on sandy tracks without requiring manual diff-lock engagement. With a 39-degree approach angle and dedicated 'Rock' and 'Mud' modes, it is perfectly equipped for the 'light off-roading' lifestyle popular across the Emirates.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior is a high-tech sanctuary featuring a large panoramic sunroof and multi-zone climate control with powerful rear vents to keep all five passengers cool. The Luxury Plus trim provides ventilated and heated seats, ensuring year-round comfort regardless of the outside temperature. Exceptional cabin insulation keeps wind noise to a minimum during 120 km/h highway cruises, while the ambient lighting adds a sophisticated touch to evening drives.

Safety

This T2 comes equipped with a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite, including Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keeping Assist, which significantly reduce driver fatigue on long desert roads. Standard safety features include Blind Spot Detection, Forward Collision Warning, and a 360-degree camera system that makes parking this boxy SUV in tight city spaces simple. A reinforced steel cage body and multiple airbags provide peace of mind for family buyers.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the rugged look of a Defender with the tech and price of a modern crossover, this GCC-spec T2 Luxury Plus is an ideal opportunity to jump into a 2025 model today.
