Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 Luxury Plus presents a compelling opportunity for buyers seeking a rugged, Defender-inspired aesthetic without the premium price tag. With mileage slightly above the GCC annual average, it has been primarily used for the long highway commutes typical of the region, ensuring the mechanical components have reached optimal operating temperatures. The Black exterior is a high-demand choice in the UAE, offering excellent contrast against the boxy design and supporting strong resale potential. As the top-tier trim, this model balances genuine all-road capability with a tech-heavy cabin that stands out against more conservative rivals. For a GCC owner, the peace of mind provided by the extensive regional service network makes this a practical entry into the adventurous SUV segment.

This Car vs Other 2025 Jetour T2s

With approximately 53,500 km on the odometer, this T2 has been driven more than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual GCC average, suggesting frequent inter-emirate travel. This highway-heavy usage often results in less wear on the brakes and transmission compared to stop-start city driving. The Black paint remains a top-tier choice for resale value in the local market, consistently attracting more buyers than niche colors.

Luxury Plus vs Lower Trims

The Luxury Plus trim elevates the T2 experience by adding essential GCC comforts like ventilated front seats and a more sophisticated 540-degree camera system for tight parking and off-road spotting. It also features a premium Sony audio system and the high-performance Snapdragon 8155 chipset, which ensures the massive 15.6-inch touchscreen remains fluid and responsive even in high summer temperatures.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

The T2 competes directly with the GWM Tank 300 and Toyota Fortuner, leading the segment in cabin technology and interior volume. While rivals often rely on older infotainment architectures, the T2 offers a digital-first experience that appeals to modern UAE families. Its 70-liter fuel tank is specifically sized for long desert highway stretches, providing superior range during cross-country trips.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for this 1.5-liter powertrain averages between 9.5L and 11L/100km depending on cargo and AC load. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from the full authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with standard intervals every 10,000 km. While Chinese brands typically see higher initial depreciation than Japanese stalwarts, the T2’s popularity in the UAE has stabilized its used-market value significantly compared to earlier models.

Performance & Capability

The 1.5-liter engine is tuned for efficiency and smooth delivery, making it ideal for the daily Dubai-to-Abu Dhabi commute. Its All Wheel Drive system and 220 mm ground clearance allow for confident weekend excursions to light desert trails or gravel wadis. With a verified wading depth of 700 mm, it is better equipped for seasonal rain and localized flooding than most urban crossovers in its class.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for the Gulf climate, featuring a powerful multi-zone air conditioning system and dedicated rear cooling vents to keep all five passengers comfortable. Acoustic glass comes standard on this trim, significantly reducing wind noise during high-speed highway cruising. The flat-folding rear seats and 752 liters of boot space make it a highly practical choice for family road trips or gear-heavy adventures.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive ADAS suite that includes Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Tracing Assist, both of which are invaluable on the UAE's fast-moving multi-lane highways. This Luxury Plus trim also features a 540-degree transparent chassis camera view, providing the driver with a clear picture of obstacles directly beneath the vehicle, alongside a full array of front and side curtain airbags.

The bottom line

This Jetour T2 is the perfect match for a tech-focused buyer who wants a rugged lifestyle SUV that is fully optimized for GCC driving conditions. It offers a high-spec, modern cabin experience at a fraction of the cost of its European design inspirations.
