Summary

This 2025 Jetour T2 Luxury Plus is a compelling entry into the adventure SUV segment, offering a rugged aesthetic that mirrors far more expensive off-roaders while maintaining refined road manners. With only one year of age and roughly 38,000 km, its mileage reflects a typical first year of active GCC commuting, where long highway stretches are the norm. The Luxury Plus trim ensures you aren't sacrificing any modern comforts, specifically featuring the enhanced cooling and tech suite vital for the UAE and Saudi climates. Finished in white, it sits in the most sought-after color category for local resale, ensuring better value retention when it's time to upgrade. For a buyer wanting that aggressive 'box-on-wheels' look without the high maintenance of traditional 4x4s, this is the right balance of style and mechanical simplicity.

This Car vs Other 2025 T2s

With approximately 38,693 km on the clock, this T2 has been driven slightly above the average for a one-year-old vehicle in the GCC, which typically sees around 25,000 km. However, this often implies the car has spent its time on smooth highways like Sheikh Zayed Road rather than in stop-start city traffic, which is better for long-term engine health. The white exterior is a strategic choice for the region, offering superior heat reflection and the strongest resale demand in the secondary market.

LUXURY PLUS vs Lower Trims

The Luxury Plus trim is a significant step up from the base Comfort variant, adding the premium Sony 12-speaker audio system and an extensive ADAS safety suite as standard. GCC-specific priorities are well-addressed here, featuring ventilated front seats and a 360-degree panoramic camera system that makes navigating tight urban parking and sandy tracks much safer. It also upgrades the cabin with a 15.6-inch high-resolution display that remains responsive even in typical summer cabin temperatures.

T2 vs Segment Rivals

When cross-shopped against the Tank 300 or the GAC GS8, the T2 leads with its broader 2006mm width, providing a noticeably more planted feel on high-speed highways. While the Tank 300 is a dedicated ladder-frame off-roader, the T2’s monocoque chassis offers a smoother, more car-like ride for daily commutes while still providing a substantial 220mm of ground clearance. Its 70-liter fuel tank is specifically sized to handle the long cross-border drives between Dubai and Riyadh with fewer stops.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 2.0T engine typically averages between 9 and 12 L/100km in mixed GCC conditions, depending heavily on AC usage during peak summer months. Service intervals are recommended every 5,000 to 10,000 km, and with the official distributor network expanding rapidly across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, parts availability is becoming a strong suit. While Chinese brands generally face higher initial depreciation than Japanese rivals, the T2’s strong visual appeal and engine warranty—often reaching up to 10 years for original owners—help stabilize its used market value.

Performance & Capability

The 254 hp power output is delivered via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that provides quick, decisive shifts, making highway overtaking effortless. Its BorgWarner 6th-gen 4WD system includes selectable terrain modes, allowing the T2 to transition from city pavement to light desert dunes or gravel wadis with ease. With an impressive 39-degree approach angle and 30-degree departure angle, it can clear obstacles that would stop most standard family crossovers.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the T2 is designed for the high-temperature GCC environment, featuring a high-performance climate control system and dedicated rear air vents to keep all five passengers cool. The panoramic sunroof is heavily tinted to manage solar gain, while the seating is upholstered in durable leatherette designed to resist the wear and tear of sand and sun. Cabin insulation is particularly impressive, keeping wind noise to a minimum even at the 120-140 km/h speeds common on regional motorways.

Safety

The Luxury Plus trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety package including a full ADAS suite with Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Automatic Emergency Braking. For the high-speed multi-lane environments of the GCC, the Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert provide essential layers of protection. The 360-degree transparent chassis camera is a standout feature, allowing you to 'see through' the hood when navigating tricky terrain or steep driveways.

The bottom line

This Jetour T2 is the ideal choice for a buyer who wants a 2025 model year SUV with head-turning presence and a top-tier feature list at a significant saving compared to showroom prices. It's a stylish, road-ready companion for a modern professional who spends the week on the highway and the weekends exploring the outskirts.
