Summary

This 2025 Defender 110 OCTA P635 is a rare find in the GCC market, representing the most powerful production Defender ever built. With just 6,000 km, this vehicle is essentially new, offering a significant mileage advantage over the typical 25,000 km annual average for luxury SUVs in this region. The Gold exterior is a standout choice that holds its presence well in the UAE's vibrant car culture and offers strong visibility. For the serious collector or off-road enthusiast, the OCTA trim introduces a level of performance and specialized suspension technology that completely separates it from the standard V8 models. This is the ultimate expression of the modern Defender, perfectly suited for both high-speed highway cruising between Emirates and technical desert weekend adventures.

This Car vs Other 2025 Defender 110s

With only 6,000 km on the odometer, this Defender 110 OCTA has seen exceptionally light use compared to the 20,000–25,000 km typically covered by GCC owners in their first year. The Gold finish is a distinctive, premium choice that sets it apart from the common white and black palettes found across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. As a top-tier OCTA trim, it sits significantly higher in both performance and desirability than the standard P400 or P525 variants currently available.

OCTA P635 vs Lower Trims

The OCTA P635 is a complete mechanical overhaul compared to the standard Defender V8. It replaces the supercharged 5.0L with a BMW-sourced 4.4L twin-turbo V8, gaining over 100 hp and a sophisticated 6D Dynamics hydraulic suspension system that eliminates traditional anti-roll bars. Inside, you receive OCTA-exclusive performance seats with integrated 'Body and Soul' audio technology and specialized driving modes designed for high-speed desert running.

Defender 110 vs Segment Rivals

The Defender OCTA primarily competes with the Mercedes-AMG G63 and the Lamborghini Urus. While the Urus focuses on tarmac speed and the G63 on iconic status, the OCTA leads with a superior 1000 mm wading depth and a highly advanced hydraulic suspension that provides better wheel articulation for actual desert use. Its dual-purpose nature makes it the only vehicle in this trio that genuinely balances track-capable speed with professional-grade off-roading.

Running Costs & Resale

The mild-hybrid 4.4L V8 is surprisingly efficient for its power class, though GCC city traffic will see consumption rise. Resale value for limited-run Defenders remains exceptionally high in the UAE, often outperforming rivals like the Range Rover Sport. Service centers are widely available across the GCC, from Al Tayer in the UAE to Mohamed Yousuf Naghi in Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts for this new powertrain are easily sourced.

Performance & Capability

The P635 powertrain delivers a staggering 635 hp, launching this SUV from 0–100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds. It features a raised ride height with 323 mm of maximum ground clearance and a 39.6-degree approach angle, making it nearly unstoppable in deep sand or rocky wadis. The unique OCTA mode optimizes the throttle and gearbox for high-performance off-road driving, a feature specifically tuned for the demands of long desert expeditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a blend of rugged utility and extreme luxury, featuring 14-way heated and cooled performance seats that are essential for the GCC summer. The Meridian Surround Sound system and sliding panoramic roof provide an open, airy feel during highway drives. Despite its performance focus, the 5-seat layout remains practical for families, with rear cooling vents and high-quality insulation that keeps the desert heat at bay.

Safety

Equipped with a full suite of ADAS features, this Defender is built for the high-speed multi-lane highways of the region. Standard safety includes 360° surround cameras with 3D views, adaptive cruise control for long-distance comfort, and blind-spot monitoring. The advanced 6D Dynamics suspension also serves as a safety feature, providing exceptional stability and roll control during emergency maneuvers on tarmac.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the absolute peak of Land Rover performance, this low-mileage 2025 OCTA is the most capable and exclusive Defender on the market today. It is a rare opportunity to own a technical masterpiece that is as comfortable at a valet stand in DIFC as it is crossing the Liwa dunes.
