Summary

The 2025 Nissan Patrol LE Platinum City marks the arrival of the all-new Y63 generation, representing the most significant leap for this icon in over a decade. This specific car, finished in the region's most desirable white, benefits from the flagship 3.5-litre twin-turbo powertrain that delivers massive torque for effortless highway cruising across the Emirates. With the Platinum City trim, you are getting the highest possible specification, including 22-inch wheels and a fully digital cabin that moves the Patrol into the luxury executive tier. For a GCC buyer, this is a chance to skip the long waiting lists for a near-new example of the most prestigious SUV in the market. The move to a 9-speed automatic and twin-turbo technology makes this the most refined and capable Patrol ever built for local conditions.

This Car vs Other 2025 Patrols

While many 2025 Patrols in the used market carry the standard 3.8-litre engine, this LE Platinum City features the high-output twin-turbo V6, which is the powertrain of choice for those who prioritize performance. The mileage is slightly higher than average for a first-year vehicle, reflecting the car's intended use as a superior long-distance highway cruiser between GCC cities. Its white exterior remains the strongest resale color in the regional market, offering excellent heat reflection and holding its value significantly better than darker shades.

LE PLATINUM CITY vs Lower Trims

The LE Platinum City is the flagship of the range, adding exclusive features that the Titanium and SE trims lack. Most notably, it is equipped with adaptive air suspension for a superior ride and 22-inch machine-cut alloy wheels that give it a commanding presence. Inside, it gains the full 12-speaker Klipsch premium audio system, massaging front seats, and the 'Invisible Hood View' camera system, which is invaluable for navigating tight urban parking or technical terrain.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The 2025 Patrol leads its primary rival, the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, in peak torque, offering 700 Nm for better low-end pull. It also provides a more digitized interior experience with twin 14.3-inch monolith displays that outshine the standard screens found in the segment. For GCC families, the Patrol's biometric cooling system is a unique advantage, using infrared sensors to detect passenger body temperature and direct airflow precisely where it's needed during the peak of summer.

Running Costs & Resale

The new twin-turbo V6 offers a meaningful efficiency improvement over the outgoing V8 while using the same standard 97-liter fuel capacity for long-range travel. Nissan's authorized service network is among the most extensive in the GCC, with major centers in every emirate and across Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts availability is never a concern. As a brand-new generation, the Y63 is expected to follow the Patrol's historical trend of having the slowest depreciation in its class, typically retaining 85-90% of its value after the first year.

Performance & Capability

With 425 hp and 700 Nm of torque, this Patrol provides a 140 Nm increase over the previous generation's V8, making a noticeable difference during high-speed highway overtaking. The 9-speed automatic transmission is tuned specifically for the region, keeping the engine in its optimal power band whether climbing dunes or cruising at 140 km/h. Its adaptive air suspension allows you to raise the vehicle for technical terrain or lower it for easier entry and improved aerodynamics on long drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of tech and luxury, featuring quilted leather and a dual 12.8-inch rear entertainment system to keep passengers occupied on long cross-border trips. Climate comfort is a priority with three-zone automatic control and ventilated seats that are essential for the GCC's extreme heat. The digital cockpit is complemented by a large head-up display, ensuring the driver stays informed without taking their eyes off the road.

Safety

This flagship trim comes standard with Nissan’s ProPILOT assistance suite, which is particularly effective on long highway stretches like the E11. It includes adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and predictive forward collision warning. For urban safety, the 3D Around View Monitor with moving object detection and rear automatic braking provides total visibility, making this large SUV manageable in the busiest city traffic.

The bottom line

For the executive or family buyer who wants the very latest in automotive technology without sacrificing the Patrol's legendary GCC heritage, this top-spec LE Platinum City is the definitive choice. It offers the most powerful engine and the most luxurious features in a high-demand color, ready for immediate delivery.
