Summary

This 2024 Nissan Patrol NISMO represents the final opportunity to own the legendary 5.6-litre V8 powertrain, a definitive icon of Middle Eastern roads. Tuned by Nissan's Takumi master craftsmen, it offers a visceral performance edge that rivals standard luxury SUVs while maintaining the brand's renowned durability. The black exterior is a high-demand choice in the GCC, ensuring strong resale liquidity and a commanding presence from the city to the highway. For the enthusiast buyer, this model balances track-inspired engineering with the daily utility required for a large family. It stands as a unique investment in automotive history, being the last of the naturally aspirated V8 flagships in the region.

This Car vs Other 2024 Nissan Patrols

With just under 60,000 km, this NISMO has seen moderate use typical of a premium GCC commuter, where high-speed highway driving is the norm. The mileage is within the expected range for a 2024 model year in the region, reflecting a balance of regular use and careful maintenance. Black is a premier resale color in the UAE and Saudi markets, often commanding a quicker sale and better value retention than more niche shades.

NISMO vs Lower Trims

Moving to the NISMO adds a bespoke aerodynamic body kit, a red-accented interior with Alcantara and carbon fiber, and Bilstein performance shock absorbers that significantly sharpen handling. Unlike the LE Platinum City, the NISMO features 22-inch forged RAYS wheels and a hand-tuned engine producing 428 hp, a 28 hp increase over standard V8 models. It also includes exclusive 'F1-inspired' rear fog lights and a sports-tuned exhaust system for a more aggressive character.

Nissan Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Patrol NISMO leads the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in terms of raw engine displacement and the prestigious V8 character, which many GCC buyers prefer for highway overtaking and towing. Compared to the Lexus LX600, the Patrol offers a roomier third row and more generous boot space, making it the better choice for large families. Its specialized NISMO-tuned suspension provides a flatter cornering experience on asphalt than the more off-road biased soft suspension of its rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the NISMO-tuned V8 averages approximately 14.5 L/100km, a figure consistent with long-distance high-speed cruising across the Emirates. Maintenance is supported by the most extensive authorized service network in the GCC, with major centers available in every primary city from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh. The V8 Patrol holds some of the highest value retention rates in the region, typically losing only 8–10% annually, as it remains a highly coveted discontinued powertrain.

Performance & Capability

The NISMO-tuned 5.6-litre V8 delivers a verified 428 hp and 560 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h. Its Four-Wheel Drive system features specialized sport and track-influenced calibrations while retaining the low-range capability needed for sandy terrain. The lowered ride height and zero-lift aerodynamics keep the vehicle exceptionally stable during fast-paced interstate travel between GCC capitals.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is configured as a spacious 8-seater, featuring NISMO-exclusive red and black leather with Alcantara inserts that provide superior grip and heat management in the summer. Standard equipment includes a powerful tri-zone climate control system with rear cooling vents designed for extreme 45°C+ temperatures. The interior is rounded out by a 13-speaker Bose premium audio system and dual 8-inch rear entertainment screens for long family road trips.

Safety

The NISMO trim includes a full suite of advanced driver-assistance systems, featuring Intelligent Cruise Control and Blind Spot Intervention, which are essential for fast-moving UAE highway traffic. Standard safety equipment includes a 360° Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Prevention. These systems provide a comprehensive safety envelope that rivals the most modern luxury SUVs in the segment.

The bottom line

This 2024 NISMO is the perfect choice for a buyer seeking the ultimate evolution of the Nissan V8 flagship before the transition to V6 power. It offers a rare combination of collector-grade pedigree, performance tuning, and everyday GCC family practicality.
