Summary

This 2025 Nissan Patrol SE Platinum City is an exceptional opportunity to own the latest Y63 generation with low mileage relative to GCC averages. The new Twin-Turbo V6 provides a more refined power delivery and improved city efficiency compared to previous generations, while the striking Green exterior is a distinguished and high-resale choice for the local market. As a top-tier SE variant, it offers a sophisticated balance of premium cabin tech and the legendary durability the Patrol nameplate is built on. For any GCC owner, this model remains the definitive choice for balancing daily family logistics with the performance required for the region's vast highway networks.

This Car vs Other 2025 Patrols

With just 36,696 km, this Patrol has been driven significantly less than the typical 50,000 km expected for a two-year-old SUV in the GCC highway-heavy environment. The rare Green finish is a premium alternative to standard white or silver, holding strong appeal and value retention in the UAE and Saudi markets. This specific example represents the debut year of the Y63 generation, offering the most modern platform currently available.

SE PLATINUM CITY vs Lower Trims

The SE Platinum City trim adds significant luxury and convenience features over the SE Titanium, including a 3D Around View Monitor and a high-definition Head-Up Display. It also introduces Biometric Cooling, which detects passenger body temperatures to optimize airflow—a critical feature for the intense GCC summer. Inside, you benefit from genuine quilted leather and multi-color ambient lighting that elevates the cabin far beyond the base XE and SE T2 levels.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Patrol continues to lead segment rivals like the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in terms of raw interior volume and third-row accessibility. While competitors have moved toward smaller fuel tanks, the Patrol’s generous capacity ensures superior range for cross-border drives or long desert expeditions. Additionally, the Nissan Intelligent Mobility suite provides a more seamless adaptive cruise experience for the fast-paced multi-lane highways of Dubai and Riyadh.

Running Costs & Resale

The transition to a 3.5L Twin-Turbo V6 has improved the Patrol's real-world fuel economy to approximately 10.1 km/L, offering better range for long-distance GCC touring. Nissan maintains one of the most extensive authorized service networks across the UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts availability is never a concern. As a GCC-spec model, it retains roughly 70-75% of its value after three years, outperforming almost all European luxury SUV counterparts in the regional used market.

Performance & Capability

Generating 400 hp and massive low-end torque from its twin-turbocharged heart, this Patrol delivers effortless overtaking power on 140 km/h highways. The 3,500 kg towing capacity is class-leading, making it the primary choice for hauling boats or horse trailers across the Emirates. Its sophisticated 4WD system includes selectable terrain modes specifically tuned for the deep sands and rocky wadis found in the local landscape.

Comfort & Cabin

The seven-seat layout is designed for maximum family comfort, featuring ventilated front seats that are essential for the local climate. The air conditioning system is widely regarded as the most powerful in its class, with dedicated vents and controls for the second and third rows to ensure all passengers remain cool in 45°C+ heat. High-grade acoustic glass significantly reduces wind noise, providing a serene environment during long inter-city commutes.

Safety

Standard on this trim is a comprehensive safety suite featuring Intelligent Emergency Braking and Blind Spot Warning, which are vital for navigating the fast-moving traffic of the GCC. The 360° camera system provides a bird's-eye view, making the parking of this full-sized SUV simple in tight urban malls. Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Departure Intervention further reduce driver fatigue during long desert highway stretches.

The bottom line

This 2025 Patrol is the perfect match for a GCC buyer who wants the very latest technology and performance without the waitlist of a brand-new showroom unit.
