Summary

This 2025 Land Cruiser VXR is a standout opportunity for GCC buyers, combining the reliability of a naturally aspirated 4.0L V6 with the luxury of a flagship trim. Finished in white, the region's most popular color for heat reflection and resale strength, it offers a distinct advantage in long-term value. Despite being a modern 300-series, it retains the mechanical simplicity that desert-going families trust across the Emirates and beyond. With seating for seven and premium cabin materials, it serves as both a refined executive commuter and a weekend-ready overland machine. For those seeking the legendary Land Cruiser pedigree with a higher specification than the standard GXR, this listing represents a prime balance of age, capability, and regional suitability.

This Car vs Other 2025 Land Cruisers

With 64,250 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven more than the typical GCC annual average of 25,000 km, yet it benefits from being a single-model-year-old vehicle with the latest 300-series architecture. The white exterior is the most sought-after choice in the UAE and Saudi markets, ensuring faster liquidity and higher price floors at resale. This specific 4.0L variant is often favored by long-term owners over the twin-turbo models for its simplified maintenance profile in extreme desert heat.

VXR vs Lower Trims

The VXR flagship significantly upgrades the cabin experience over the GXR, adding a 14-speaker JBL premium sound system and a four-zone climate control system essential for GCC summers. It further distinguishes itself with ventilated second-row seating and power-folding third-row seats, features rarely found on lower trims. Additionally, the VXR includes a 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor and advanced Toyota Safety Sense features that provide superior confidence on fast-moving multi-lane highways.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

Against the Nissan Patrol, the Land Cruiser leads with its iconic 110-litre dual-tank capacity, providing the extended range required for cross-border trips between the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. It offers a more robust body-on-frame construction compared to the unibody Land Rover Defender, making it the preferred choice for heavy-duty off-roading in the Liwa or Rub' al Khali. The Toyota's parts availability in remote GCC areas remains unmatched by any European competitor.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.0L V6 engine is tuned for 95-octane fuel and delivers approximately 8.0 to 8.5 km/L, a figure that remains consistent even in stop-start Dubai traffic. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, supported by the most extensive authorized service network in the Middle East, including Al-Futtaim and Abdullah Abdulghani. The Land Cruiser historically experiences the lowest depreciation in its class, often retaining over 85% of its value after three years in the GCC market.

Performance & Capability

Powered by a 271 hp V6, this SUV prioritizes steady torque and long-term durability over raw speed, making it perfectly suited for climbing soft dunes or towing. The VXR's Multi-Terrain Select system automatically adjusts brake and throttle control to master sand, rock, and mud at the turn of a dial. With 235 mm of ground clearance and a dedicated low-range transfer case, it remains the gold standard for desert expeditions across the region.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior features premium leather upholstery with wood-grain accents, creating a high-end environment for up to seven passengers. Crucial for the local climate, the VXR includes a high-capacity refrigerator in the center console and dedicated rear AC vents that ensure the third row remains cool during peak summer. The acoustic glass and enhanced insulation provide a whisper-quiet cabin, even when cruising at 140 km/h on the E11 highway.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on this VXR includes the full Toyota Safety Sense suite, featuring Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Trace Assist for relaxed long-distance desert driving. The 360-degree camera system is particularly useful for navigating tight parking spaces in urban malls or spotting obstacles during technical off-roading. Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert come standard, offering vital protection on the UAE’s busy multi-lane highway networks.

The bottom line

This 2025 VXR is the ideal choice for a buyer who wants the maximum luxury of a flagship Land Cruiser paired with the legendary reliability of the 4.0L V6 engine.
