Summary

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP offers a rare opportunity to own a near-new, high-performance hybrid SUV with just 6,000 km on the clock. As a 0-year-old vehicle, it provides a massive saving over showroom prices while maintaining the executive 6-seater VIP configuration that is highly sought after in the UAE market. The black exterior is a premier resale choice in the GCC, ensuring strong value retention for future owners. This model stands out by combining the rugged, boxy aesthetic of a classic off-roader with the silent, refined drive of an electric vehicle. For a GCC buyer, the most important consideration is its range-extender technology, which removes charging anxiety on long drives between Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Riyadh.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

With only 6,000 km, this vehicle is significantly below the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average for the GCC, representing an excellent 'as-new' buying advantage. Its black finish is one of the top three colors for resale strength in the local market, unlike the more experimental greens or greys often found on imports. Choosing this specific 2026 listing means getting current-year technology and battery health with almost no wear.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim is the flagship of the range, replacing the standard second-row bench with individual aviation-grade captain chairs that offer 12-way electric adjustment and dedicated leg rests. It standardizes ventilated and massaging seats for the first and second rows—a critical luxury in the 45°C GCC summers that lower 'All-Purpose' trims lack. Additionally, the VIP includes the upgraded 15.6-inch rear entertainment screen and the 14-speaker Arkamys premium audio system as standard.

01 vs Segment Rivals

The ROX 01 is frequently cross-shopped with the Lixiang L9 and AITO M9, but it leads in rugged utility with a superior 700mm wading depth and 205mm ground clearance for weekend desert excursions. While rivals focus purely on urban luxury, the ROX 01’s 70-litre fuel tank and 45-degree climbing capability make it the more versatile choice for exploring the UAE's varied terrain. It offers more standard off-road hardware than a similarly priced Lexus RX or BMW X5.

Running Costs & Resale

The 1.5L range-extender system delivers a real-world combined efficiency of roughly 7.95L/100km, which is exceptional for a large SUV in stop-start Dubai traffic. As a Chinese-spec vehicle, owners benefit from a growing network of specialized independent service centers in Dubai and Sharjah that offer comprehensive support and parts at a lower cost than traditional luxury brands. While Chinese entrants typically see 15–20% annual depreciation, the high demand for the VIP trim in the UAE helps it retain value better than base models. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, focusing on the generator and electric motor cooling systems.

Performance & Capability

A total output of 470 hp and 740 Nm of torque allows this 2.7-tonne SUV to hit 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on high-speed motorways like E11. The intelligent e-AWD system features five dedicated terrain modes—including a specific 'Sand' mode—designed to manage power distribution on soft surfaces. With a 700mm wading depth and 205mm ground clearance, it is well-equipped for rainy season flash floods or moderate sand dunes. The electric motors drive the wheels directly, providing the instant torque response necessary for both city agility and off-road control.

Comfort & Cabin

The 2-2-2 seating layout is designed for maximum passenger comfort, featuring Nappa leather and 'zero-gravity' recline functions in the second row. Triple-zone climate control with dedicated vents for all three rows ensures the cabin remains cool even during peak GCC summer heat. The 15.7-inch 3K central touchscreen is powered by a Snapdragon 8155 chip for a lag-free experience, complemented by double-glazed acoustic glass that keeps the cabin exceptionally quiet at highway speeds. A built-in refrigerator and 256-color ambient lighting further enhance the premium atmosphere for family road trips.

Safety

This VIP trim comes with a comprehensive safety suite, including 9 airbags and a high-strength steel body designed for maximum occupant protection. Key ADAS features include 360° high-definition cameras with a 'transparent chassis' view for navigating tight parking or rocky terrain, and adaptive cruise control for long desert highway drives. Blind-spot monitoring and lane-keep assist come standard, providing vital support in the fast-moving, multi-lane traffic typical of major GCC cities.

The bottom line

This ROX 01 VIP is the perfect choice for a family or executive buyer who wants the luxury and tech of a flagship SUV without the range limitations of a pure EV. It is a standout opportunity to secure a 2026 model with ultra-low mileage in the market's most desirable color and trim.
