Summary

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP is a zero-year-old vehicle that offers a compelling alternative to traditional luxury SUVs in the GCC, combining rugged Pininfarina-led design with advanced range-extender technology. As a VIP trim, it features a premium 6-seater layout with executive captain chairs that are highly sought after for family comfort in the UAE and Saudi markets. The grey exterior is a neutral, high-resale choice for the region, and the REEV powertrain effectively eliminates range anxiety for long-distance drives between emirates. With its high ground clearance and intelligent AWD, it handles both city highways and weekend gravel paths with ease. This listing represents a modern, tech-forward opportunity for buyers wanting flagship luxury without the typical European depreciation rates.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

As a brand-new 2026 model with zero mileage, this ROX 01 stands at the top of the used market's value curve. While typical GCC annual use for family SUVs ranges between 20,000 and 25,000 km, this vehicle’s untouched status makes it a 'new-car' alternative with immediate availability. The grey metallic finish is a strategic choice for the region, offering better heat reflection than black while maintaining a premium aesthetic that holds value well at resale.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim is the flagship of the ROX 01 range, replacing the standard 7-seat bench with two executive second-row captain chairs featuring electric leg rests, heating, ventilation, and massage functions. It also upgrades the cabin with a 15-speaker premium audio system and a drop-down rear entertainment screen that supports HDMI and USB-C inputs. These specific interior upgrades are high-value differentiators in the GCC, where passenger comfort during summer heat is a top priority.

01 vs Segment Rivals

The ROX 01 competes directly with the Li Auto L8 and AITO M7, leading the segment with a more rugged, off-road-oriented design and a larger 56 kWh battery. Its 70-litre fuel tank provides a superior combined range for cross-border trips compared to many pure EVs. Additionally, the ROX 01's unique 'camping mode' features, including an available factory kitchen and V2L power output, offer more lifestyle versatility than its more road-biased rivals.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the range extender averages around 7.9L/100km on long highway drives, while city commuting can be done almost entirely on electric power. Service intervals are typically every 10,000 km, focusing on the 1.5L generator and the dual-motor electrical systems. Authorized service support is established in the UAE through centers like EVS, providing specialized diagnostics for the 56 kWh CATL battery. As a Chinese luxury entrant, it follows a depreciation pattern similar to high-end tech brands, though its rugged appeal helps it retain value better than softer crossovers.

Performance & Capability

The ROX 01 delivers a massive 476 hp and 740 Nm of torque, allowing the 2.7-ton SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. Its intelligent AWD system and 205 mm ground clearance make it highly capable on sand and gravel surfaces common in the UAE's outskirts. Five dedicated off-road modes and adaptive dampers ensure a composed ride whether cruising at 120 km/h on the E11 or navigating weekend mountain trails.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary from the GCC heat, featuring a powerful tri-zone climate control system and Nappa leather seats with integrated cooling. The 6-seat layout ensures every passenger has ample space, while the 15.7-inch central display and digital rearview mirror provide a high-tech driving environment. Soft-close doors and acoustic glass significantly reduce wind noise during high-speed highway travel, maintaining a quiet atmosphere for the rear-seat entertainment system.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive ADAS suite including adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, and a 540-degree camera system that provides a transparent chassis view for technical terrain. The vehicle is constructed with a high percentage of ultra-high-strength steel and includes 8 airbags as standard. These active systems are particularly effective on fast-moving multi-lane highways, providing blind-spot monitoring and emergency braking to protect the family in all driving conditions.

The bottom line

This 2026 ROX 01 VIP is the ideal choice for a tech-savvy family in the GCC looking for the ultimate mix of first-class cabin luxury and long-range adventure capability. It offers the best of both worlds: electric efficiency for the city and a petrol-backed range for the open desert road.
