Summary

This ROX 01 PRESTIGE arrives as a disruptive force in the premium SUV segment, offering a sophisticated PHEV powertrain that perfectly balances high performance with exceptional efficiency. With virtually delivery mileage on the clock, this example represents a unique opportunity to own a 2026 model year vehicle that is effectively brand new. The exterior is finished in white, which remains the most desirable and high-resale color in the GCC market due to its ability to reflect intense sunlight and maintain a clean appearance. As a luxury six-seater with dedicated captain chairs, it stands out against traditional seven-seaters by prioritizing passenger comfort and cabin walkthrough space. For a buyer in the GCC, this vehicle offers the rare combination of a long-range electric drive for city commuting and a gasoline range-extender for long-distance travel between emirates without range anxiety. It is a forward-thinking choice for those who want the latest automotive technology and high-end cabin finishes without the premium price tag of European luxury marques.

This Car vs Other 2026 ROX 01s

Finding a 2026 model year vehicle with only 30 km is an exceptional find in the current UAE market, as most available units have already seen demonstrative use. While the average annual mileage for a family SUV in the GCC typically ranges between 20,000 and 25,000 km, this vehicle is essentially a fresh factory delivery, ensuring all components are at their peak mechanical life. The white exterior is a strategic advantage for local buyers, consistently commanding higher resale values and faster turnover times than darker shades in the used market. Because this is a very recent production unit, it benefits from the latest software calibrations for the hybrid system and infotainment, which can vary even within the same model year. Choosing this specific listing means securing a vehicle that has spent zero time in the harsh GCC sun or stop-start traffic, preserving the interior materials and battery health perfectly.

PRESTIGE vs Lower Trims

The PRESTIGE trim is the definitive choice for GCC buyers who refuse to compromise on cabin atmosphere and technological convenience. Moving up to this trim replaces standard bench seating with ultra-premium captain chairs in the second row, a feature that is highly sought after for family road trips across the Emirates. You also gain a more comprehensive suite of interior amenities, including enhanced massage functions and climate-controlled seating that are vital during the peak summer months. The audio system and noise insulation are noticeably upgraded in this trim, creating a serene environment that rivals high-end European SUVs. Furthermore, the PRESTIGE includes the full array of exterior sensors and high-definition cameras that make parking this large SUV in tight mall basements effortless. It is these specific luxury additions that not only improve the daily driving experience but also ensure the vehicle holds a higher percentage of its value when it comes time to trade in.

01 vs Segment Rivals

When compared to established rivals like the Li Auto L8 or the BMW X5, the ROX 01 offers a unique proposition of rugged capability mixed with high-tech luxury. Its 1.5L range-extender system is specifically designed to handle the long-distance requirements of the GCC, offering a total range that exceeds many traditional gasoline competitors. The interior space is significantly more generous in the third row than the X5, making it a more practical choice for larger families living in Dubai or Riyadh. The ROX 01 also features a more robust All Wheel Drive system designed for diverse terrains, providing better peace of mind during weekend excursions to the desert outskirts. While many rivals charge extra for advanced driver assistance systems, this model includes them as standard, providing a level of value that is hard to match in the premium segment. Its combination of a 476 hp output and PHEV efficiency gives it a performance edge over entry-level luxury crossovers that rely solely on smaller turbocharged engines.

Running Costs & Resale

Owning a PHEV in the GCC is becoming increasingly advantageous as charging infrastructure expands across major cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. In stop-start city traffic, the electric motor handles the bulk of the work, significantly reducing fuel consumption compared to traditional V6 or V8 SUVs. For long-distance drives to Oman or across Saudi Arabia, the 1.5L engine acts as an efficient generator, ensuring you are never tethered to a charging station. Service intervals for the ROX 01 are predictable, focusing on standard fluid changes for the small combustion engine and routine inspections of the electric drivetrain. While the brand is newer to the region, the growing network of specialized service centers ensures parts availability for routine maintenance is becoming more streamlined. Resale value for these high-spec Chinese EVs and hybrids has shown strong resilience in the UAE, especially for models finished in popular colors like white. As a 2026 model, this vehicle is positioned at the very beginning of its depreciation curve, offering several years of high-value ownership.

Performance & Capability

The performance of the ROX 01 is headlined by its impressive 476 hp, delivered through a sophisticated All Wheel Drive system that provides instant torque for overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. Despite its size, the electric motors allow for seamless acceleration, making the vehicle feel light and responsive in urban environments. The transition between electric power and the range-extender is nearly imperceptible, maintaining a quiet cabin even at high speeds. With multiple drive modes, the vehicle can adapt to sandy tracks or wet road conditions during the occasional rainy season, providing confident traction at all times. The ground clearance is generous for a crossover, allowing for easy navigation over speed bumps and unpaved parking areas common in developing communities. For those who enjoy outdoor lifestyles, the All Wheel Drive system and robust chassis provide the necessary capability for light off-roading and camping trips. The 1.5L 4-cylinder engine is tuned for durability, ensuring it can operate efficiently even in the extreme ambient temperatures of the Middle East.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside the ROX 01 PRESTIGE, the focus is entirely on a first-class travel experience for all six occupants. The second-row captain chairs are the centerpiece, offering individual armrests and significant legroom that makes long journeys across the desert much more bearable. The air conditioning system is engineered to cope with 45°C+ temperatures, featuring multiple zones and powerful vents that reach all three rows quickly. Premium materials cover every touchpoint, from the soft-touch dashboard to the high-quality upholstery, giving the cabin a modern and airy feel. The infotainment system is vast and responsive, providing seamless connectivity and navigation that is essential for navigating the ever-changing road networks of the GCC. Acoustic glass and extensive sound dampening ensure that wind noise is kept to a minimum, even at highway speeds. The large windows and panoramic roof provide excellent visibility, which is particularly pleasant during evening drives when the city lights of Dubai or Doha are at their best.

Safety

Safety in the ROX 01 PRESTIGE is managed by a comprehensive suite of active and passive systems that are particularly effective for GCC driving conditions. The advanced ADAS suite includes adaptive cruise control, which is a massive benefit for the long, straight highways connecting the different emirates. Blind-spot monitoring and lane-keep assist provide an extra layer of protection against the fast-moving traffic typical of the region's multi-lane roads. The vehicle is constructed with high-strength steel in critical areas, and the battery pack is shielded to prevent damage in the event of an impact. Front and rear sensors, combined with a high-resolution 360-degree camera, make maneuvering this SUV in crowded urban areas both safe and simple. Automatic emergency braking and cross-traffic alerts help mitigate the risks of city driving, ensuring that both passengers and pedestrians are well-protected. This commitment to safety makes it an ideal choice for families who prioritize the wellbeing of their children on every trip.

The bottom line

This 2026 ROX 01 PRESTIGE is the perfect match for a tech-savvy family looking to transition into the world of electrified luxury without sacrificing the range needed for GCC life. With delivery mileage and the most popular color configuration, it represents a smart, near-new purchase that offers significantly more features than its European competitors at this price point.
