Summary

This 2026 ROX Adamas VIP offers a compelling blend of rugged off-road aesthetics and high-tech efficiency, making it a standout choice for the modern GCC family. As a brand-new vehicle with zero age, it presents a fresh alternative to established rivals like the Li Auto L9, particularly for those who prioritize the 'boxy' adventurer look inspired by European icons. The VIP trim is the specific sweet spot for regional buyers, offering the most luxurious 2+2+2 seating configuration that is highly sought after for long cross-emirate drives. Its range-extender (REEV) powertrain provides the smoothness of an EV for city traffic in Dubai or Riyadh while eliminating range anxiety for long highway journeys. In the local market, the Black-on-Black combination remains a top-tier choice for resale value, ensuring this SUV stays desirable for years to come.

This Car vs Other 2026 Adamas s

With a Vehicle Age of 0 years, this ROX Adamas represents the latest in EREV technology available in the market. While average annual mileage in the GCC typically hits 25,000 km, this unit offers the advantage of a clean slate for the first owner. The Black exterior is a high-demand color in the regional used market, historically outperforming more niche shades in terms of both speed of sale and price retention.

VIP vs Lower Trims

The VIP trim elevates the Adamas from a standard family hauler to an executive-grade cruiser, most notably through the addition of second-row aviation-style captain chairs equipped with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Unlike the 7-seat variants, this 6-seat VIP configuration offers a walk-through aisle and superior legroom that GCC buyers specifically value for long-distance comfort. It also integrates the premium 15-speaker audio system and the 15.6-inch rear entertainment screen as standard, features that are often optional on lower-tier specifications.

Adamas vs Segment Rivals

The Adamas competes directly with the Li Auto L9 and the Aito M9, but stands out with its more aggressive, off-road-oriented design and a higher wading depth of 700 mm. For the GCC buyer, it offers a distinct advantage in 'curb presence' compared to the softer, more MPV-like styling of its rivals. Its 70-liter fuel tank paired with the 56 kWh battery provides a total combined range that surpasses many traditional petrol SUVs in the segment, making it better suited for the vast distances between GCC cities.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world efficiency is excellent for its size, with the range-extender system allowing for pure electric commuting in city traffic, significantly lowering daily fuel costs. The 1.5-liter generator is designed for Euro V fuel standards, making it fully compatible with the high-quality 95 or 98 octane petrol found across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. While newer Chinese brands generally see a depreciation rate of 12-15% in their first years, the Adamas's high tech-spec and popular VIP layout help mitigate this compared to base models. Authorized service centers are expanding rapidly in major hubs like Dubai and Riyadh to support the growing regional fleet.

Performance & Capability

Performance is surprisingly sharp for a full-sized SUV, with the dual-motor AWD system delivering 476 hp and 740 Nm of torque, resulting in a 0–100 km/h sprint of just 5.5 seconds. This instantaneous torque is particularly useful for overtaking on fast-moving highways like the E11. Beyond the tarmac, its intelligent terrain modes and 205 mm ground clearance make it capable of handling sandy tracks and gravel wadis during weekend escapes. The REEV setup ensures that even when the battery is low, the petrol generator maintains consistent power delivery without the performance drop-off seen in some plug-in hybrids.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary of Nappa leather and soft-touch materials, designed to withstand the intense heat of the GCC summer with a high-capacity climate control system and dedicated cooling for all three rows. The 15.7-inch central display serves as the hub for the 'smart cockpit,' which supports multi-screen interconnectivity for both work and play. Acoustic glass is standard on the VIP trim, providing exceptional insulation from road noise and desert crosswinds. The inclusion of a factory refrigerator in the center console is a quintessential feature for local owners, ensuring cold drinks are always available during summer drives.

Safety

Safety is managed by an advanced ADAS suite that includes LiDAR-assisted adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping systems, providing a layer of security during long desert highway stretches. The vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive 540-degree camera system (including a transparent chassis view) which is invaluable for maneuvering a vehicle of this size in tight urban parking or over uneven terrain. Standard active safety features like automatic emergency braking and blind-spot monitoring are calibrated to handle the fast-paced, multi-lane traffic environments typical of major GCC cities.

The bottom line

This ROX Adamas VIP is the ideal choice for a tech-forward family in the UAE or KSA looking for the luxury of a Range Rover with the efficiency of an EV. As a brand-new 2026 model in the most desirable seating configuration, it represents a premium opportunity to own one of the most talked-about new entrants in the luxury SUV segment.
