Toyota Hilux DC PREMIUM

• 870 kg net payload
• Panoramic View Monitor standard

Summary

This 2027 Toyota Hilux DC Premium represents a zero-kilometer opportunity to own the range-topping petrol variant of the GCC's favorite workhorse. Finished in a high-resale Black, this flagship trim combines the linear power of a naturally aspirated V6 with comfort features typically reserved for SUVs. While four-cylinder models dominate fleets, this V6 version is the preferred choice for private owners who require smooth highway overtaking and desert capability. For a GCC buyer, the primary draw is the mechanical simplicity of a large-displacement petrol engine, ensuring exceptional heat management and long-term durability in extreme climates.

This Car vs Other 2027 Hiluxs

As a brand-new vehicle with zero kilometers, this Hilux sits at the peak of the local used market's value curve. The Black exterior is one of the most sought-after colors for premium-trim pickups in the GCC, offering a distinct advantage in future resale compared to standard white fleet units.

DC PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The Premium trim significantly upgrades the ownership experience with a 12.3-inch digital display and ventilated front seats, which are essential for the Gulf summer. It also adds a Panoramic View Monitor and an 8-speaker audio system, features that are absent on the work-focused GL and SGLX trims.

Hilux vs Segment Rivals

When compared to the Nissan Navara or Mitsubishi L200, the Hilux leads with a larger 4.0L V6 engine that offers superior pulling power without the complexity of a turbocharger. Its 80-liter fuel tank is specifically designed to handle long-distance desert drives and cross-border highway trips across the region.

Running Costs & Resale

The 4.0L V6 petrol engine is engineered for longevity, with recommended service intervals every 5,000 to 10,000 km at any authorized Toyota center across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, or Oman. In the GCC market, the Hilux maintains one of the highest value retention rates in the industry, typically depreciating at just 8-10% annually. Fuel consumption averages approximately 13.0L/100km in mixed GCC driving conditions.

Performance & Capability

The Hilux produces 235 hp and 376 Nm of torque, providing effortless momentum for both highway cruising and soft-sand desert excursions. With a 312 mm ground clearance and a selectable 4x4 system with a rear differential lock, it is purpose-built for the region's diverse terrain. The 870 kg payload ensures it remains a practical utility vehicle despite its premium cabin appointments.

Comfort & Cabin

The five-seat cabin is designed for year-round comfort in the heat, featuring powerful automatic climate control and front-seat ventilation. The interior is anchored by a high-resolution 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone integration, making long drives between emirates more connected. Acoustic insulation has been improved in this trim to reduce road noise during high-speed highway travel.

Safety

Safety is managed by a suite of active systems including Vehicle Stability Control and Hill-start Assist, which are particularly effective on loose sand and gravel surfaces. This Premium trim is equipped with a 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor and front and rear parking sensors to simplify maneuvering in tight urban spaces. A comprehensive airbag system and Electronic Brake-force Distribution come standard, providing peace of mind for both family and commercial use.

The bottom line

This is the ideal choice for a buyer who wants the legendary reliability of a Hilux without sacrificing the technology and comfort of a modern SUV. As a zero-km GCC spec unit in a premium color, it offers a secure investment with unmatched parts availability across the entire region.
