Summary

This 2026 Hilux GR Sport is a delivery-mileage example with just 4 km, presenting a rare opportunity to own a top-tier variant in effectively new condition. As the flagship trim, it features aggressive wide-body styling and unique Gazoo Racing interior enhancements that distinguish it from the standard workhorse models. Black is a highly desirable color in the GCC market, offering a sophisticated look and strong resale prospects for the next owner. Built to GCC specifications, this pickup is engineered to handle extreme temperatures while providing a more engaging driving experience than any other factory Hilux. For the buyer who needs legendary durability paired with a more premium, sporty personality, this is the most complete package currently available.

This Car vs Other 2026 Hiluxs

With only 4 km on the odometer, this Hilux is in showroom condition and sits well below the typical annual GCC mileage of 25,000 km. While many Hiluxs in the market are utilized for heavy industrial work, this GR Sport trim is a lifestyle-focused vehicle that has been preserved since delivery. The Attitude Black exterior is a top-tier choice for resale in the region, providing a significant advantage over less popular or commercial-spec colors.

GR SPORT vs Lower Trims

The GR Sport trim significantly upgrades the driving dynamics with specialized KYB monotube shock absorbers and a wider track for improved stability. Inside, it swaps the standard utility interior for premium leather and suede bucket seats, red contrast stitching, and a GR-branded steering wheel with paddle shifters. GCC buyers will particularly appreciate the inclusion of a 360-degree camera and blind-spot monitoring, which are often absent on lower workmate or GLX trims.

Hilux vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Ford Ranger or Mitsubishi L200, the Hilux leads with the most extensive authorized service network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. Its 2.8L diesel engine is optimized for the low-quality fuel often found in remote desert areas, a factor where more complex European rivals can struggle. While others may focus on interior tech, the Hilux retains a traditional ladder-frame durability that remains the benchmark for GCC terrain.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.8L turbo-diesel engine offers an efficient balance for the GCC, averaging approximately 14.4 km/L, which is ideal for long-distance hauls between Emirates. Maintenance is straightforward with 10,000 km service intervals, and Toyota's massive parts availability ensures lower long-term upkeep costs than its American counterparts. The Hilux traditionally holds the highest resale value in the pickup segment, typically retaining up to 65% of its value after three years in the local market.

Performance & Capability

The high-output 2.8L engine delivers 500 Nm of torque, providing effortless overtaking power on fast-moving UAE highways even when fully loaded. The GR Sport's suspension tuning reduces body roll, making it surprisingly composed on-road while maintaining its heavy-duty 4x4 capability with a rear differential lock. It is rated for a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, making it as capable at hauling a boat to the coast as it is at navigating soft sand dunes.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed to combat the intense GCC summer with a high-performance dual-zone climate control system and dedicated rear AC vents to keep all five passengers cool. Acoustic insulation has been improved in this generation to ensure a quieter highway cruise, while the cooled glovebox provides a practical spot for refreshments. The 8-inch infotainment system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ensuring modern connectivity is standard.

Safety

Standard safety features on this GCC-spec GR Sport include a comprehensive airbag system and Toyota Safety Sense, featuring Pre-Collision Warning and Lane Departure Alert. The 360-degree camera is particularly useful for maneuvering this wide-body truck in tight city parking, while Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Hill-Start Assist provide essential electronic intervention for both highway safety and off-road technical sections.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast who wants the world's most reliable pickup without the utility-grade interior, this delivery-mileage GR Sport is the definitive choice in the GCC market.
