Entering its sixth generation, once again the sedan goes under the knife for a major overhaul and appears to be influenced by a coupe. Standard features include power accessories, manual air conditioning, automatic headlights, fog lamps, paddle shifters behind the steering wheel, cruise control modes, media inputs, CD player hooked up to six speakers, multifunction steering wheel and 16-inch rims on each corner.

2015, 2016 and 2017 Hyundai Sonata in Dubai, UAE
In its seventh and current generation, the Hyundai Sonata received another major overhaul and fitted in with the rest of the Hyundai lineup with its flattened front end along with a redesigned front end.
Base models in the UAE are known as GL and are equipped with 16-inch steel rims, keyless entry, reverse camera, fog lamps, ABS, a single airbag, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control modes and six speaker setup with media inputs and a CD player. Rims can be swapped out for 16 or 17-inch alloys and rear parking sensors, panoramic sunroof, semi leather seats, electric mirrors and dual airbags.
GLS models serve as top trim levels and are equipped with front parking, adaptive headlights, stability control, navigation, blind spot mirrors, climate control modes and six airbags. Turbo models have 18-inch alloys, dual exhaust tips and sports suspension. Inside, a unique three point steering wheel, gear lever, interior trim and dashboard console are present. Turbo models also have LED daytime running lights.
In the GCC two four-cylinder motors are available. One being a turbocharged 2-litre and the other being a 2.4-litre. Both power the front wheels and both are exclusively mounted to a six-speed automatic gearbox. Other regions have a V6 and manual transmission as is a hybrid model.
