UK Audi Q2 fans were in for a shock when the German brand announced a limited edition 2017 Q2 model was destined for showrooms exclusively in their region. However, the brand revealed barely any details about the vehicle inclusive of zero pictures.

All of that appears to have been turned upside down as the 2017 Audi Q2 Edition#1 will reach showrooms at least in Europe. Covered in a unique shade of Quantum Grey, these vehicles come standard with the S-Line package. Inclusive of side skirts, sporty front and rear end, 19-inch rims adorn each corner with an anthracite lick of paint.
Complementing the exterior paint are blacked out C-pillars and mirror caps along with titanium black lining the front grille and bumpers.
European customers can choose from a variety of engines including a 1.4-litre four cylinder petrol motor aided by a single turbo or a 2-litre diesel engine. Both are rated between 115 to 150 horsepower. Shortly afterwards, a separate three-cylinder turbocharged engine and a 2-litre diesel will be prepared for the special edition.
Inside, sport seats covered in two-tone brown and black with power options take over along with a multi function steering wheel, grey headliner and adjustable LED ambient lighting. Seats inside can be covered in either fabric or leather.
Serving as a rival to the Nissan Juke and Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, it’s only a matter of time to see what those two have up their sleeve.
No price has been officially announced. However, deliveries are expected to hit showrooms later this year.
