2018 BMW M5 to be revealed before ahead of motor show reveal

BMW just can’t wait for next months German Motor Show to show off the 2018 BMW M5. Instead, they’ll reveal the model sooner rather than later.

Before its grand reveal next month in Frankfurt, 2018 BMW M5 models are set to be uncloaked before the show. During the event, 2018 BMW M5 sedans will share the lime light with an X7 SUV Concept amongst many other vehicles from all walks of life.

Power is drawn from a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol motor. Rated at 600 horsepower if not more, it’s certainly a rival for the potent Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S.

Rear wheel drive has been the norm for M5’s. However, in its latest form, 600+ horses will sprint to each corner of the sports derived four-door. Equipped with a multi drive mode selector, drivers can choose from 4WD, 4WD sport and 2WD to send power to the rear wheels exclusively.

On the design front, 2018 BMW M5 cars have yet to shed their heavy camo. Expect the model to wear aggressive styling we’re used to with any model wearing an M badge. This would include re-profiled front and rear bumpers, side skirts, unique rear diffuser, larger wheel arches, quad exhaust tips and an exclusive set of alloys.

Inside remains a mystery; however, traditional BMW luxury blended elegantly with sports seats and sports steering wheel shouldn’t come as a surprise.

BMW has yet to reveal a price tag for the upcoming 2018 M5.

Dubicars.com has new BMW 5-Series and used BMW 5-Series for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
