2018 Infiniti QX30 launched in the UAE

Infiniti’s ever-expanding lineup of vehicles welcomes a new model to the UAE market. Making its debut two years ago, the fresh-faced 2018 Infiniti QX30 is ever so taller and wider than its Q30 sibling.

Riding on the same platform as the Q30, the 2018 Infiniti QX30 sits 300mm taller compared to its sibling. It bears a striking resemblance to the Q30 but does have a unique set of bumpers and wheel arch cladding which widens the model by 50mm.

Infiniti offers two distinct trims; Luxe and Luxe Sensory. Luxe variants come with a glass rood with electric sunshade and a Bose Premium 10-speaker sound system. Meanwhile, the Luxe Sensory trim is equipped with Intelligent Cruise Control with speed limiter, Blind Spot Warning, traffic sign recognition and Infiniti InTouch Navigation with 7-inch touch singe screen. It can also be had with a Cafe Teak theme.

A multi-function leather-wrapped steering wheel and leather upholstery are standard across the board.

Available in nine unique colours, the 2018 Infiniti QX30 draws power from a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine and is good for 208 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. The crossover is fitted with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and an intelligent All-Wheel Drive system.

By default, power is sent to the front wheels only as it reduces fuel consumption, but when push comes to shove, and the 2018 Infiniti QX80 gets stuck on an uneven surface, power is conveniently sent to both axles.
