2018 Toyota Yaris sedan finds its way to the UAE

During an event at a prestigious hotel in the UAE, the all-new 2018 Toyota Yaris sedan is now available across the Emirates.

Aimed towards those who have just received their licence and first-time buyers, the compact sedan offers increased safety and comfort without compromising durability, quality and most importantly reliability.

With an all-new face with eye-catching headlights and angular lines that give off a muscular appearance, the new Yaris is available in a wide range of colours including the crowd favourites black, white and silver along with eye-popping shades of blue and red, and measures in 30 mm wider and 15mm longer.

Additionally, the model receives larger taillights and LED Daytime Running Lights with the latter only being available on SE+ variants.

Riding on a longer wheelbase, the interior grows inside allowing for added legroom for both front and rear passengers. On the technology front, the latest Yaris features LED backlit cupholders, cruise control, automatic climate control, six speakers, media inputs and a Smart Entry & Start System.

Completing the cabin is a choice of two interior colours Black and Ivory.

Similar to the previous generation, customers can choose between one of two engines. A 1.3- or 1.5-litre petrol engine driving the front axle. The latter of the two produces 106 horsepower and 140 Nm of torque while mated to a 7-step CVT gearbox and delivers an impressive fuel economy of 20 kilometres per litre.

The all-new 2018 Toyota Yaris sedan starts at AED 59,900 for the SE model and AED 79,900 for SE+ variants.
