2019 Audi A7 Sportback revealed in an unusual way

Renders, spy shots and press releases are the usual port of call for new car reveals, but not this time though. The 2019 Audi A7 Sportback has been revealed in a rather unconventional way in the form of a scale model.

Certainly, an unusual way to show off what’s to come, there are distinct changes to make note of and as far as we can tell, the model stays true to the A7 lineup and has hints of the Prologue concept shown off not too long ago.

A wider front grille prominently adorns the front end and is flanked with sleeker highlights. Unfortunately, no clear pictures of the rear end have surfaced, although, it’s safe to assume the long elegant light bar from the current Audi A8 and A7 Sportback prototype from a couple of weeks ago.

Sources indicate the model rides on the MLB Evo platform.

No word has been mentioned on what drives the 2019 Audi A7 Sportback, although we are not expecting any radical changes to the current power plants and drivetrains.

There are rumours of semi or fully autonomous features being readily available similar to that of the Audi A8.

2019 Audi A7 Sportback rivals

Audi hasn’t confirmed when exactly the model will make its grand debut. One of its rivals; the Mercedes-Benz CLS  is said to be revealed this December at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

We’re still waiting what BMW has in store.

Dubicars.com has new Audi A7 and used Audi A7 for sale in Dubai and Sharjah.
