2019 Audi A6 revealed before Geneva

After successfully debuting the new Audi A8 and A7 Sportback, the German manufacturer has uncovered the all-new 2019 Audi A6.

Set to be on show in Geneva, the latest A6 borrows heavily from the two mentioned models. A large singleframe front grille flanked with bold air intakes and redesigned alluring headlights. Speaking of which, top-of-the-range 2019 Audi A6 models are fitted with Matrix LED lights.

Moving along, bold lines running down either side give the saloon a muscular appearance. The rear end features an integrated spoiler and optional LED taillights.

The 2019 Audi A6 measures in slightly longer compared to the current model allowing for increased rear legroom, shoulder space and headroom.

Sharp exterior, clean interior for the 2019 Audi A6

The interior mimics that of the recently revealed A7 bringing a futuristic look along with premium materials and high-quality accents. Full option models are fitted with three unique digital displays; one 12.3-inch digital dashboard panel and a 10.1-inch infotainment system complemented with an 8.6-inch screen below that allow drivers and passengers to adjust the cabin temperature, cool the front seats and operate the massaging features.

The 2019 Audi A6 comes with a long list of optional extras. This includes a panoramic sunroof, premium Bang & Olufsen sound system and an air quality package complete with an ioniser and fragrance diffuser. Additionally, Audi is offering two distinct ambient lighting packages, and an Audi connect key.

Audi is known to be heavily involved with autonomous driving features, the 2019 Audi A6 will be available with a range of state-of-the-art driver assistance. The park assist package includes a system for the car to park itself. The City assist package has crossing assist, while the Touring assist package includes adaptive cruise control.

European customers have a choice of two engines. A single turbocharged 3.0-litre TFSI V6 petrol engine rated at 345 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox and connected to the iconic all-wheel drive as standard, the executive saloon launches from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds before hitting a top speed of 250 km/h. The other engine is a 3.0-litre diesel TDI V6.

The all-new 2019 Audi A6 launches this June in Germany with other markets to follow shortly afterwards. Prices start at €58,050 or AED 260,707 for 50 TDI Quattro models. Further pricing is to be announced closer to launch date.
