The biggest advantage of the Nissan Patrol is its eight-seat configuration over the 5 or 6-seat layout of the G700. In addition, the 18-speaker audio system on the G700 is bound to produce better sound quality than the 12-speaker system on the Patrol.

The G700, being a plug-in hybrid SUV, delivers a lot more performance and better efficiency than the Patrol. The G700 produces 299hp and 95 Nm more than the Patrol. The Patrol is also offered with a 3.8-litre V6 NA engine producing 316hp and 386Nm paired with a 9-speed AT.

Both have similar off-road credentials when it comes to the approach, departure, and breakover angles.. However, the G700 has a significantly higher ground clearance and water wading depth compared to the Patrol. 

Plus, it is more capable thanks to the instantaneous torque produced by the dual-electric motors. That said, the G700 also weighs 367kgs more than the Patrol, which might be a slight disadvantage if it gets stuck on the desert dunes.

Something along the lines of.. We have yet to get our hands on the Jetour G700, so it is not possible to give a verdict on how they perform. However, going by specs and numbers alone, the Jetour G700 has a lot more to offer than the Nissan Patrol.
