The Tesla Model 3 is one of the most established electric cars in the UAE. It combines useful driving range, strong performance and lower routine running costs than many petrol cars.

New Tesla Model 3 Price In The UAE

The 2026 Tesla Model 3 currently starts from AED 154,990 in the UAE. Higher-spec versions cost more, while used examples can be far cheaper. Current used Tesla Model 3 EVs are priced around AED 54,000, although prices vary with age, mileage, specification, warranty, and regional specifications.

Cost Calculation Assumptions

For this guide, we have assumed:

• Annual driving: 20,000km
• Real-world electricity consumption: 15.5kWh/100km
• Electricity required: Around 3,100kWh per year
• Charging mix: 70% home charging and 30% public DC charging
• Normal maintenance and expected wear items
• No accident repairs or major unexpected failures

Cost Of Owning A New Tesla Model 3

EVs have fewer routine service items than petrol cars. There are no engine oil changes, spark plugs or conventional fuel-system services. However, owners still need to budget for tyres, cabin filters, brake checks, wheel alignment and other wear items.

Tesla Model 3 Warranty

A new Model 3 receives a basic vehicle warranty of four years or 80,000km, whichever comes first. Battery and drive-unit coverage is eight years or 160,000km on the RWD, while selected higher-spec versions are covered for eight years or 192,000km. Tesla specifies at least 70% battery-capacity retention during the applicable battery warranty.

Cost Of Owning A Used Tesla Model 3

Used Model 3 ownership depends heavily on age, mileage, condition and remaining warranty.

A recent GCC-spec car with warranty could cost roughly AED 2,900 to AED 4,400 per year for electricity, maintenance and wear. An older example could require AED 4,400 to AED 7,200 annually, while a high-mileage car may need a larger repair reserve, taking the estimate to around AED 6,000 to AED 10,400.
