Five months into the year and Chevrolet have finally announced a special edition for their token sports car lineup. Simply known as the Corvette Carbon 65, it brings custom exterior finish with plenty of weight saving materials.
To set the Corvette Carbon 65 apart from the rest of the lineup, each one is fitted with plenty of carbon fibre body panels including the rear spoiler, roof panels, centre wheel caps and hood insert. There is custom door, and fender graphics and the entire exterior is covered in Ceramic Matrix Grey. Although it looks white to us.
Inside, the model benefits from more carbon fibre including steering wheel trim on top of the premium features already found inside; Cooled front seats, BOSE premium sound system, Bluetooth pairing and navigation just to name a few.
GM have announced that the Corvette Carbon 65 is limited to 650 units with 500 of them heading for the US while the other 150 are destined for Export. No doubt, this Corvette will be a rear site outside of the States.
Available for those purchasing Corvette’s with Z06 and Grand Sport packages in either hard top or soft top variants can throw down an extra $15,000 or AED 55,095 for the Carbon 65 package.
