We haven’t heard much from Devel since it’s shocking announcement almost four years ago about their first vehicle. Known as the Devel Sixteen, it was and still is a life-size Hot Wheels car or something straight from a video game, and it’s heading to the Dubai International Motor Show next week.
“But we’ve seen it before?” is what is no doubt running through your head right now. Yes, we’ve all seen it before, but this time it’s heading to the event in production trim!
Devel and Manifatture Automobili Torino have teamed up to bring the Devel Sixteen to life. The latter is also responsible for bringing other insane creations to production ready status including the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG 003 and the upcoming Apollo Intensa Emozione.
What is the Devel Sixteen?
Devel is a UAE based who are aiming to take on the supercar world by storm. By installing a V16 quad turbocharged petrol engine, the Devel Sixteen reportedly churns out an eye-watering 5,000 horsepower!
No. we didn’t add another zero for clickbait, the engine is said to be just as powerful as ten supercars. With that in mind, Devel claims the model is capable of hitting a top speed of over 500 km/h.
And oddly enough, Devel have also gone on record and said the model “is suitable for daily driving.”
