Dubai Ambulance add 2 supercars and a luxury SUV to their fleet

It’s not just the Dubai Police force that is fast, the Dubai Ambulance is fast too with the addition of three new cars.

Khalifa Bin Drai, executive director of the Dubai Corporation of Ambulance Services (DCAS) announced the new additions include a C7 Corvette, Nissan GT-R, and a Range Rover.

Previously, the department had a six-cylinder Lotus Evora in their fleet.

The new additions will be parked at various Dubai hotspots and tourist locations and the city. Places like Dubai Mall, City Walk, The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) and Shaikh Mohammed Bin Rashid.

They will also be present at sporting events including horse races, cycling and marathons.

Each vehicle will have two paramedics and a driver. Equipped with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) equipment and oxygen cylinders, the vehicles are equipped to swiftly respond to any emergency.

Bin Drai was quick to note that the sports cars’ high speed results in faster response times. Between four to eight minutes are to be expected with the aim of providing first-aid quickly to those in need before the ambulance arrives.
