Are you in the market for a 2018 Dodge Durango SRT but that massive 6.4-litre petrol motor is putting you off? It looks like you’re not alone as the historic American brand has exactly what you need.
Without equipping the mighty 6.4-litre V8 SRT motor underneath the bonnet, you can have your 2018 Dodge Durango in any trim fitted with the muscular SRT exterior that debuted earlier this year.
This includes the ventilated hood, centrally mounted air scoop and heat extractors. Even though the kit can be had with any trim, R/T models do have exclusive options.
B5 Blue paint is available to cover the exterior, and a handful of active safety features only apply to the R/T trim. Red paint is available across the board and in our opinion is the best choice to cover the vehicle’s exterior.
Durango SRT kits can be had with a 3.6-litre V6 Pentastar motor or a 5.7-litre HEMI V8 rated at 295 horsepower and 360 hp respectively.
Now there is no need to head to a shady garage to get yourself an SRT body kit for your 2018 Dodge Durango; you can get on official one straight from the dealer.
Make note that these kits have just been released in the States. Before you start calling the Dodge dealer, give it a few weeks. FCA hasn’t revealed how much the appearance package will cost; we have a feeling it cost less than the actual SRT model.
