Finally, the new Toyota Supra is heading to Geneva

It’s finally happening! Can you believe it? The new Toyota Supra is heading to this year’s Geneva Motor Show next month, and the Japanese brand has even dropped a teaser image to get our heart rate racing.

The single image showcases a dark silhouette of the new Toyota Supra’s rear end. An enlarged fixed rear spoiler appears bolted to the rear deck lid while its flowing curved lines leave us wanting more.

New Toyota Supra won’t wear Toyota emblems

As bizarre as that sounds, reports suggest the Japanese automotive giant won’t be adding their signature badge to the new two-door coupe. Instead, the vehicle will be offered as part of the Gazoo Racing banner to establish their new performance division. Other models currently sold underneath Gazoo Racing include the Toyota Yaris GRMN plus another dozen or so models exclusive to the Japanese Market.

In case you haven’t heard, Toyota and BMW will work together to create the Supra and new Z4. With the two brands joining forces, both vehicles will share the same underpinnings and select engines.

Other reports claim that the Toyota Supra will be offered in four unique versions. One of these variants is said to be powered by a BMW-sourced six-cylinder petrol engine rated at 335 horsepower.

We’ll have to wait until the 6th of March for more information, until then, you can take this image to bed and dream of what’s to come.

Dubicars.com has new Toyota and used Toyota for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Ajman.
