Kia sports sedan snapped inside factory ready to go!

Rumours of the South Korean-built Kia sports sedan has proved popular, and people just won’t stop talking about when it will actually be ready. With this recent picture snapping the vehicle inside the factory and ready to roll, it appears the Kia sports sedan is almost upon us.

Dubbed the K8 on home soil, this particular example rolled off the production striking up a similar resemblance to the 2011 GT concept. With its sloping roof line and thin LED lights, a set of bespoke rims are set on each corner giving the Kia sports sedan a unique look that its rivals should look out for.

While we don’t know exactly what is hiding inside or underneath the bonnet of this model, the Kia sports sedan models are to be available with either a 3.3-litre turbocharged V6 powering the rear wheels with an estimated 365 horsepower on offer.

Those wanting a smaller package can opt for a 2-litre four-cylinder motor which is also said to be made available. Both power units will be mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox powering the two rear wheel wheels.

Kia’s latest model has its sights firmly set on the BMW Gran Coupe and CLS Series. Not the V8 models of course.

We’ve got plenty of new Kia and used Kia for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.

We expect Kia sports sedan models to hit the market in 2017 as a 2018 model even though it appears to be ready for the streets of South Korea. No price point has been announced as of yet.
