New Jetour T2 Extended 7-Seater SUV Unveiled At Shanghai Auto Show 2025

Popular Chinese car brand Jetour has launched a new version of its well-known off-road SUV. Called the T2 Extended, it is a 7-seater variant of the famous Jetour T2, which quickly became popular after its launch in the UAE. The new 7-seater model was unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show 2025, and there is a strong chance it will arrive in the UAE soon.

New Jetour T2 7-Seater Price Variants & Colours

The Jetour T2 7-Seater, also called the Jetour Shanhai T2 Extended Version in China, is offered in three variants: 

• Discovery: 194,900 Yuan (approximately AED 99,000)
• Cross: 229,900 Yuan (approximately AED 116,000)
• Conquest: 239,900 Yuan (approximately AED 121,000)

When launched in the UAE, we expect the Jetour T2 7-Seater could have a starting price of AED 170,000.

Colours:

There are 6 exterior colours to choose from: Green Mountain, Glacier White, Highway Grey, Polar Night Black, Snow Mountain Silver, and Misty Blue. While interiors are offered in two dual-tone colour options: Black & Red, and Blue & White.

Engine & Transmission Options

Just like the Jetour T2, the new T2 7-Seater is available in both non-hybrid and hybrid versions. The non-hybrid model is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. The hybrid version uses a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol Miller cycle engine, paired with electric motors and a battery pack. Here are the performance figures:

Both the non-hybrid model and the top-spec hybrid variant come with Jetour’s XWD four-wheel-drive system. This setup helps the driver handle rough terrain with ease.

Exterior Design

The new Jetour T2 7-seater SUV looks very similar to the standard T2. However, from the side, you can notice the extended rear overhang, which makes room for two extra seats in the third row. Apart from this change, the exterior design remains true to Jetour’s style, with aggressive, muscular body panels, large wheel arches, and a boxy silhouette. It also keeps the tailgate-mounted spare wheel.
