Nissan Kicks set to launch in 2017 across the UAE

After a successful trip to Brazil during the 2016 Rio Olympics, the Nissan Kicks is only a few months away from launch right here in the UAE, with the first models set to launch in the first quarter of 2017.

The Nissan Kicks has its eyes firmly set on rear bumpers of the Hyundai Creta and Mazda CX3. Both of which are part of a lucrative market around the world, the crossover market.

Measuring in larger than the Nissan Juke, Kicks models sport a more reserved look as well as a youthful one with its selection of coloured roofs. Inside, the funky crossover benefits from fabric or leather seats with a multitude of colour palettes on offer.

With seating available for five people, Nissan Kicks models are equipped with various options including power seats, sunroof, media inputs, Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, climate control and cruise control modes; the new Nissan is prepared to “Kicks” down the door.

Middle East customers can make good use of the 1.6-litre four cylinder motor mated to an XTRONIC CVT gearbox. Rated at a respectable 114 horsepower and weighing in at 1,142 kilos, the Nissan Kicks proves worthy of traversing the roads of the UAE.

Other markets are to receive a selection of other motors including a turbocharged one. Fingers crossed that version makes its way through the Arabian Gulf and on to our shores.

We haven’t got any Nissan Kicks available online just yet, but we do have new Nissan and used Nissan for sale in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman.
