Porsche Mission E takes to the streets

It’s been almost two years since the Porsche Mission E made its first debut and took the automotive world by storm. With stunning good looks, the all-electric luxury four-door has been spotted in the wild for the first time.

Not one, but multiple Porsche Mission E test mules were caught outside Porsche’s Research & Development centre in Weissach with Tesla models for company.

Heavily wrapped with tape, fake light stickers appear to be stuck to the front end and are not alone in the fake department.

In an attempt to shy away from the fact that this is indeed Porsche Mission E models, the German manufacturer has attached a set of fake tailpipes to deter onlookers.

They’ll have to do better than that next time.

Porsche Mission E specs

Running on an all-electric powertrain with over 592 horsepower on tap, the Misson E reportedly will be able to sprint to 200 km/h in under 12 seconds and offer a 531 drive range on a single charge.

Two years ago Porsche unveiled the model with 800-volt technology which will filter into the final product resulting in less weight and quicker charging times

Speaking of charging, Porsche aims to offer customers 80% in just 15 minutes. If achieved, the Mission E will be a real game-changer in the all-electric segment. They are also reportedly working on level 4 autonomous capabilities and over-the-air software updates similar to that of what Tesla is doing now.

Porsche Mission E all-electric luxury sedans are destined to launch by 2020 and we just can’t wait!

Dubicars.com has new Porsche and used Porsche for sale in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi.
