We’re anxiously waiting for the 17th of November as much as any motoring enthusiast is. As the day draws closer and closer, more manufacturers are confirming what to expect, and Jaguar has confirmed their ridiculous XE SV Project 8 is heading our way
Although the model may be part of the XE lineup, only the front doors and roof carry over from the regular model as Jaguar SVO has carefully re-engineered the entire chassis and bodywork.
Driving each corner is a heart-stopping 5.0-litre supercharged V8 pushing out a mega 592 horsepower. Mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, Jaguar Land Rover claims this is their fastest-accelerating model achieving 0-100 km/h in a brisk 3.5 seconds.
Grab an XE SV Project 8 before they are all gone
Jaguar will build just 300 examples of the XE SV Project 8. Out of the 300, 60 of them are heading to the US leaving the rest of the world to fight over the remaining 240 units.
Pricing in America starts at $188,496 or AED 692,365.
Just before the model is handed over to customers, Jaguar wants to ensure their latest creation is the fastest four-door around, as the model will be heading to the infamous Nordschleife in attempt to beat the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and a flurry of other sports derived saloons including the crowd favourite BMW M3.
During the show, you can get up and personal with the insane creation. But don’t get too close as the model will undoubtedly bite back.
