Summary

This 2010 Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe represents a rare opportunity to own a hand-assembled masterpiece with a presence that remains unmatched on GCC roads. While its silver exterior is a top-tier choice for heat reflection and resale strength in the region, the 113,000 km mileage is impressively low for a vehicle of this age, especially given the highway-heavy nature of local driving. As a driver-focused alternative to the standard Phantom, this Coupe offers a more engaged chassis without sacrificing the legendary 'magic carpet ride'. For the discerning buyer in the UAE or wider GCC, this vehicle offers the ultimate statement of luxury with the added assurance of its regional specification.

This Car vs Other 2010 Phantoms

With only 113,000 km over 16 years, this Phantom Coupe has averaged just 7,000 km annually, which is significantly below the typical GCC average of 20,000–25,000 km. In a market where high-mileage luxury cars are common, this low-usage example stands out as a well-preserved investment. The silver finish is one of the most practical and sought-after colors in the local used market, ensuring strong value retention and ease of maintenance.

COUPE vs Lower Trims

The Coupe trim was engineered as the 'driver's Phantom', featuring a shorter wheelbase and a stiffer suspension setup with modified dampers and anti-roll bars compared to the standard sedan. It includes unique highlights such as the rear-hinged 'coach' doors and a brushed stainless steel finish on the hood and A-pillars. These features, combined with the 15-speaker Logic 7 audio system, make it a more exclusive and tech-forward choice than the base four-door models.

Phantom vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Bentley Brooklands or the Maybach 62, the Phantom Coupe leads with its unmistakable presence and superior cabin insulation, which is essential for the GCC's extreme summer temperatures. Its 100-litre fuel tank provides a substantial cruising range for long-distance travel between emirates or across borders. Unlike its competitors, the Rolls-Royce uses a bespoke aluminum space-frame that provides a level of refinement and structural rigidity that remains the benchmark for the segment.

Running Costs & Resale

The hand-built V12 engine requires specialized care, with recommended service intervals of every 12 months or 15,000 km at authorized service centers, which are well-established across major GCC cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 15.7L/100km, though this can increase in heavy city traffic. Historically, the Phantom Coupe has shown better value retention than the standard sedan due to its limited production numbers and growing status as a modern collectible in the Middle East.

Performance & Capability

The 6.7-litre V12 delivers 453 hp and 720 Nm of torque, allowing this nearly three-ton masterpiece to reach 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. This effortless power is perfectly suited for high-speed highway overtaking on the UAE's multi-lane roads. The rear-wheel-drive platform is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission designed for imperceptible shifts, ensuring that performance never compromises the cabin's legendary silence.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the four-seat cabin is a sanctuary of hand-stitched leather and book-matched wood veneers, designed to isolate passengers from the 45°C+ GCC heat. The dual-zone climate control is famously powerful, and the rear-hinged doors allow for an elegant entrance and exit. Acoustic glass and extensive soundproofing ensure that the interior remains whisper-quiet even at highway speeds, making it an ideal environment for long-distance regional travel.

Safety

This Phantom Coupe is equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including electronic stability control and traction control, which are vital for maintaining composure on sand-dusted road surfaces. The vehicle features seat-mounted side-impact airbags and side curtain airbags for both rows. For high-speed highway commuting, the reinforced aluminum space-frame provides an exceptionally rigid protective cell, while the powerful antilock braking system with brake assist ensures confident stopping power for a vehicle of its stature.

The bottom line

For the collector or enthusiast looking for a low-mileage, GCC-spec icon, this Phantom Coupe offers the perfect blend of driver-centric performance and peerless Rolls-Royce luxury.
