Summary

This Infiniti JX35 is a refined 7-seater that offers a premium Japanese alternative to the standard family crossover. While the mileage reflects its age, these vehicles are built on a robust Nissan-derived mechanical platform known for high-mileage durability on GCC highways. The Moonlight White exterior is the most sought-after color for resale in the local market, effectively reflecting the intense UAE sun. With its clever sliding second row and All-Wheel Drive, it remains one of the most practical luxury family haulers for school runs and weekend trips across the Emirates.

This Car vs Other 2013 JX35s

At 270,000 km, this vehicle has been driven roughly 20,700 km per year, which is slightly below the typical GCC average for a family SUV. This suggests consistent use without the excessive wear often seen on long-haul commuter vehicles. The white exterior provides a significant advantage for resale and thermal management in our climate.

COMFORT vs Lower Trims

The Comfort trim provides essential premium features including leather-appointed seating across all three rows and tri-zone automatic climate control, which is vital for keeping all seven passengers cool during the summer. It also includes the RearView monitor and a power-sliding sunroof as standard, providing a more executive feel than base-trim competitors.

JX35 vs Segment Rivals

The JX35 leads rivals like the Acura MDX and Lexus RX in third-row accessibility thanks to its multi-mode middle seat that slides even with a child seat installed. Its 74-litre fuel tank is perfectly sized for the long highway stretches between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, offering a smooth, CVT-driven cruising experience that emphasizes cabin quietness over the harsher ride found in sportier European alternatives.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5L V6 is a reliable workhorse with an extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts are always available. Real-world fuel consumption averages around 11.5 L/100km in city traffic, while highway cruising is significantly more efficient. As a GCC-spec Japanese luxury model, it retains value better than many European counterparts, typically seeing a steady 10-12% annual depreciation at this age.

Performance & Capability

With 265 hp and a 0–100 km/h time of 8.3 seconds, this SUV offers smooth, predictable power for highway overtaking. The Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system provides extra stability on rain-slicked roads or gravel tracks during weekend desert escapes. The Drive Mode Selector allows you to toggle between Sport, Standard, and Eco to prioritize either responsiveness or fuel efficiency depending on the traffic conditions.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed around family logistics, featuring a flat floor that increases legroom for middle and rear passengers. The tri-zone climate control includes dedicated vents for the rear rows, ensuring the air conditioning remains effective even in 45-degree heat. The acoustic glass and high-quality insulation make it a quiet sanctuary for long-distance family travel across the borders.

Safety

Standard safety features include a comprehensive 6-airbag system and a 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution. The RearView monitor and traction control are standard on this trim, providing essential assistance in crowded city parking and high-speed highway merging. The JX35 earned high safety marks at launch, making it a trusted choice for those prioritizing passenger protection.

The bottom line

For a growing family in the GCC, this JX35 offers luxury and seven-seat practicality at a price point that makes sense, backed by the reliability of a Japanese V6 powertrain.
