Summary

This 2013 Maserati GranTurismo SPORT is a rare find in the GCC market, showing exceptionally low mileage for its 13 years of age. Finished in Grey, a color known for maintaining steady resale appeal in the region, this coupe offers the perfect blend of Ferrari-derived engineering and grand touring comfort. The Sport trim is the sweet spot of the range, delivering significant power and aesthetic upgrades over the standard model. For the discerning buyer in the UAE or across the GCC, this vehicle represents a chance to own a modern classic that has been driven less than 1,500 km per year on average. Its naturally aspirated V8 provides a mechanical soul and sound signature that modern turbocharged rivals simply cannot replicate.

This Car vs Other 2013 GranTurismos

With only 17,206 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits well below the typical 20,000 km per year average seen in the GCC. While many GranTurismos of this vintage have transitioned into high-mileage daily drivers, this example has clearly been treated as a weekend car or collection piece. The Grey exterior is a sophisticated choice for the Middle East, offering better heat management than black while retaining a premium aesthetic that supports strong resale value.

SPORT vs Lower Trims

The Sport trim was introduced to bridge the gap between the base model and the track-focused MC Stradale. It upgrades the 4.7-litre V8 to 460 hp, providing a sharper throttle response and a more aggressive exhaust note. Standard features on the Sport include the revised front bumper for better cooling, darkened headlight housings, and more supportive sport seats that are essential for long highway drives between Emirates.

GranTurismo vs Segment Rivals

The GranTurismo Sport competes directly with the BMW M6 and Jaguar XK, yet leads with its unmistakable Italian flair and Ferrari-developed powertrain. Unlike its German rivals, the Maserati offers a genuine 2+2 seating arrangement that can accommodate four adults, making it more practical for social outings. Its 86-litre fuel tank is specifically advantageous for long-distance cruising across the Saudi or Omani borders.

Running Costs & Resale

As a GCC-spec model, this car benefits from a cooling system and interior materials designed to withstand extreme summer heat. Owners should expect a combined fuel consumption of roughly 14.3L/100km, though city driving in stop-start traffic will increase this. Authorized service centers are well-established across major GCC cities, with recommended service intervals occurring every 20,000 km or 24 months. While European grand tourers generally see higher depreciation, the exceptionally low mileage on this specific unit makes it a outlier with better-than-average value retention.

Performance & Capability

The heart of this coupe is the 4.7-litre V8 producing 460 hp, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 4.8 seconds. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a smooth 6-speed ZF automatic transmission, which is better suited for daily GCC traffic than the older robotized manuals. With a top speed of 298 km/h, it remains a serious performer on the UAE's well-maintained highway networks, offering effortless overtaking power.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the GranTurismo features a hand-finished leather interior with four individual seats. The dual-zone climate control is robust, a necessity for the region, and is complemented by premium materials that remain insulated from outside road noise. The Sport trim specifically adds aluminium pedals and a grippier steering wheel, enhancing the tactile experience during spirited drives through the Hajar Mountains.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive suite of active and passive systems, including six airbags and Maserati’s Stability Program (MSP). The braking system features large ventilated discs for consistent stopping power in high temperatures. Standard rear parking sensors and cruise control provide added convenience for navigating tight city parking and long desert highway stretches.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity for a GCC collector to acquire a low-mileage GranTurismo Sport that delivers the iconic Maserati V8 symphony in a highly usable grand touring package.
