Summary

This Nissan Pathfinder represents a solid opportunity for GCC families seeking a dependable seven-seater without the high running costs of a full-size 4x4. The white exterior is the most practical choice for the local climate and consistently leads in resale demand across the UAE and wider region. Positioned as the SV trim, it offers a refined balance of features like a rearview camera and remote start that are essential for daily urban life. With its proven V6 engine and GCC specifications, this vehicle is mechanically optimized for long-distance highway cruising between emirates.

This Car vs Other 2014 Pathfinders

With 145,000 km over 12 years, this vehicle reflects an annual usage of roughly 12,000 km, which is significantly below the typical GCC average of 20,000 km per year. The white exterior provides a distinct advantage in the used market, as it remains the most sought-after color for heat reflection and resale stability. Finding a GCC-spec example with this mileage-to-age ratio offers a clear reliability edge over imported alternatives.

SV vs Lower Trims

The SV trim provides a meaningful upgrade over the base S model by adding features highly valued by GCC drivers, including a rearview camera and rear parking sensors for easier mall parking. It also introduces the remote engine start system, allowing you to cool the cabin before entering during peak summer months. Inside, the SV adds a power-adjustable driver seat and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, enhancing the comfort of long-distance drives.

Pathfinder vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Toyota Highlander or Honda Pilot, the Pathfinder stands out with its EZ Flex Seating System, which allows easy third-row access even with a child seat installed. Its unibody construction provides a smoother, car-like ride on Dubai and Abu Dhabi highways compared to more agricultural body-on-frame competitors. Additionally, its 2,268 kg towing capacity is highly competitive for weekend jet-ski or trailer hauling.

Running Costs & Resale

The 3.5L V6 engine typically delivers a combined fuel consumption of approximately 10.4 L/100km, which is efficient for a seven-passenger vehicle in GCC traffic. Owners benefit from one of the region's most extensive authorized service networks, ensuring affordable parts and maintenance from Muscat to Kuwait City. Being a GCC-spec Nissan, this model enjoys strong value retention, typically depreciating at a slower rate than its European or American-spec counterparts.

Performance & Capability

Equipped with a 254 hp V6 engine, the Pathfinder provides smooth, linear acceleration that makes highway overtaking effortless even when fully loaded with seven passengers. The All-Wheel Drive system features a selectable lock mode, providing extra confidence for light desert trail drives or sandy beach parking. Its 190 mm ground clearance is ample for navigating speed bumps and unpaved suburban roads common across the region.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for family logistics, featuring tri-zone automatic climate control to ensure passengers in all three rows stay cool during the extreme summer heat. Acoustic glass and improved insulation help keep the interior quiet, filtering out wind noise during high-speed highway commutes. The versatile seating layout includes a sliding second row, allowing you to prioritize legroom or cargo space depending on the trip.

Safety

Standard safety equipment on the SV trim includes six airbags, electronic stability control, and traction control, all essential for maintaining grip on sandy or oil-slicked road surfaces. The inclusion of a tire pressure monitoring system is particularly useful in the GCC, where extreme temperature fluctuations can affect inflation. Anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution ensure consistent stopping power during sudden highway stops.

The bottom line

This is a low-mileage, GCC-spec family SUV perfect for a buyer who prioritizes easy maintenance, strong resale value, and summer-ready comfort.
