Summary

This 2014 Land Cruiser VXR is a rare find in the Gulf market, showing remarkably low mileage for a vehicle of its age. The 4.0L engine provides the perfect balance of daily drivability and the legendary off-road reliability that has made the 200-series a regional cultural icon. As a flagship VXR trim, it offers a refined cabin experience that stands head-and-shoulders above more basic configurations often used as work vehicles. For any buyer in the UAE or wider GCC, this specific listing represents a unique opportunity to own a mechanically pristine example of one of the most durable machines ever built. The blue exterior is a sophisticated choice that maintains a strong presence while benefiting from Toyota's legendary local resale demand.

This Car vs Other 2014 Land Cruisers

At just 11,900 km, this vehicle’s mileage is exceptionally low for a 2014 model in the GCC, where the average Land Cruiser typically covers over 200,000 km in its first decade. This represents a significant mechanical advantage, offering a near-new ownership experience for a discontinued and highly sought-after generation. The blue paint is a distinguished alternative to the common white and silver, providing a premium aesthetic without compromising the high resale value associated with GCC-spec Toyotas.

VXR vs Lower Trims

The VXR trim is the premium flagship, adding critical luxury features over the GXR and EXR models that are highly valued in the local market. It typically includes upgraded materials, advanced climate control zones for the intense summer heat, and a superior audio experience. Buyers also benefit from enhanced technological interfaces and driver aids that make long-distance desert highway drives significantly more comfortable than in the utilitarian base trims.

Land Cruiser vs Segment Rivals

When compared to rivals like the Nissan Patrol or the Mitsubishi Pajero, the Land Cruiser leads in overall structural durability and ease of maintenance across the region. Its body-on-frame construction is specifically engineered for heavy-duty use, providing a level of reliability in extreme heat that remains the industry benchmark. Additionally, the availability of spare parts in every corner of the GCC gives it a practical advantage that few other luxury SUVs can match.

Running Costs & Resale

The Land Cruiser is a gold standard for value retention in the GCC, typically losing only 8–10% of its value annually compared to the 15–20% seen in European rivals. Fuel consumption for the 4.0L engine reflects its heavy-duty nature, averaging approximately 13.5L/100km on highways and rising in stop-start city traffic. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from the most extensive authorized service network in the region, with service intervals that are well-understood by every local technician.

Performance & Capability

With a 700 mm wading depth and a robust four-wheel-drive system, this vehicle is prepared for both urban flooding and deep-sand desert excursions. The 300 hp output is delivered smoothly through an automatic transmission, providing ample power for overtaking on fast-moving UAE highways. Its selectable low-range transfer case ensures that even the most challenging terrain can be navigated with confidence, making it a true dual-purpose vehicle for family road trips and weekend adventures.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is configured to seat eight passengers in total comfort, with high-capacity air conditioning systems designed specifically to neutralize 45°C+ summer temperatures. Dedicated rear cooling vents ensure that every passenger stays comfortable, regardless of the exterior climate. High-quality cabin insulation minimizes wind and road noise, providing a quiet environment for long cross-border drives across the Emirates or into neighboring GCC states.

Safety

Standard safety systems on this trim include a comprehensive airbag suite and stability control systems optimized for varying surfaces. Useful features for the GCC include cruise control for long desert highway stretches and a robust braking system designed to handle the vehicle's significant payload capacity. The high driving position provides excellent visibility in multi-lane traffic, while the vehicle’s renowned structural integrity offers peace of mind for family travel.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast or family buyer who values mechanical longevity above all else, this ultra-low mileage Land Cruiser VXR is the best-preserved example of a legend currently on the market.
