Summary

This 9-year-old C63 AMG S stands out as a high-performance icon, featuring the hand-built V8 that defines the Affalterbach experience. With 84,000 km, its mileage is significantly lower than the GCC average for this age, offering a mechanical advantage for its next owner. The white exterior is a top-tier choice for resale in the local market, and the S trim adds the essential performance hardware that serious buyers seek. Competing directly with the BMW M4, this Coupe offers a more muscular V8 character that is ideal for fast highway cruising between emirates. In the UAE, this specific configuration remains a highly desirable and liquid asset in the pre-owned performance segment.

This Car vs Other 2017 C63 AMGs

At 84,000 km, this vehicle has been driven approximately 9,300 km per year, which is exceptionally low for the GCC where 20,000 km is the standard. This lower usage means less exposure to extreme summer heat cycles on the engine components compared to higher-mileage examples. The white finish is the most sought-after color in the region for its heat-reflective properties and superior resale value.

S vs Lower Trims

The S trim is a significant step up from the base C63, increasing output to 503 hp and adding dynamic engine mounts that sharpen handling during spirited driving. Most importantly for GCC buyers, it includes an electronic limited-slip differential and a dedicated Race mode, alongside standard Nappa leather and larger 19-inch wheels that command a premium in the local market.

C63 AMG vs Segment Rivals

The C63 S differentiates itself from rivals like the BMW M4 and Audi RS5 by utilizing a larger displacement 4.0-litre V8, providing a signature exhaust note and effortless highway overtaking power. While competitors often use six-cylinder engines, the Mercedes offers a more relaxed, high-torque character that excels on long desert highway drives.

Running Costs & Resale

Fuel consumption is rated at approximately 8.7 L/100km combined, though GCC city traffic will see this increase significantly. The car requires 98 octane fuel to maintain its performance standards. As an American spec vehicle, buyers should ensure service history is documented; however, Mercedes-Benz has an extensive authorized service network across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, ensuring parts for the W205 platform are readily available.

Performance & Capability

With a verified 0-100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds, this coupe delivers supercar-level acceleration that is perfectly suited for the UAE's well-maintained highway infrastructure. The AMG Ride Control adaptive suspension allows the driver to switch from a comfortable commuter to a stiff, track-ready machine for visits to Dubai Autodrome. Its 700 Nm of torque ensures immediate response at any speed, making short work of high-speed merges.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin features high-bolstered sport seats upholstered in premium Nappa leather, designed to keep occupants secure during cornering while maintaining comfort for long trips to Oman or Abu Dhabi. The dual-zone climate control is engineered to handle 45°C+ summer peaks, and the premium Burmester audio system provides acoustic clarity even against the backdrop of the sport exhaust. The 4-seat layout offers genuine utility for small families or weekend trips.

Safety

Standard safety features include Collision Prevention Assist Plus and Blind Spot Assist, which are vital for navigating fast-moving multi-lane highways in the region. The C63 S also benefits from an advanced stability control system specifically tuned for its high power output, ensuring traction is maintained even on dusty or sandy road surfaces. Multiple airbags and a rigid passenger cell provide top-tier passive protection for all occupants.

The bottom line

For the enthusiast seeking the definitive German V8 experience, this low-mileage S trim in a high-resale color represents one of the most balanced performance opportunities currently available in the UAE market.
