Summary

This 2018 Bentley Continental GT Supersports is a rare find in the GCC market, representing the absolute peak of the second-generation Continental's performance. With just 10,470 km on the odometer, this vehicle has been driven roughly 1,300 km per year, which is exceptionally low for an 8-year-old car in a region where grand tourers often see heavy highway use. The Grey exterior is a highly desirable resale color in the UAE, offering a sophisticated look that holds value better than more eccentric palettes. As the most powerful production Bentley of its era, it stands far above the standard V8 and W12 models in terms of both collectibility and raw speed. For a buyer in the GCC, this listing offers a virtually new ownership experience of a discontinued, high-output icon that is perfectly suited for high-speed cross-border cruising.

This Car vs Other 2018 Continentals

At 10,470 km, this Supersports has covered significantly less ground than the average 2018 Continental in the GCC, which typically sees 15,000–20,000 km of use annually. Its low mileage makes it a prime candidate for a collector or an enthusiast looking for a mechanically fresh W12. The Grey finish is a 'safe' investment in the local market, ensuring high demand and strong price retention compared to brighter, less traditional colors.

GT SUPERSPORT vs Lower Trims

The Supersports trim is a significant leap over the GT Speed, adding larger turbochargers and a torque-vectoring system derived from the GT3-R. It features carbon-ceramic brakes as standard—essential for managing heat during spirited drives in the GCC summer—and a unique carbon-fiber aero kit. Inside, the trim introduces distinct tri-tone upholstery and carbon-fiber dashboard inlays that are not available on the standard W12 or V8 models.

Continental vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Aston Martin DB11 or Ferrari GTC4Lusso offer sharp handling, the Continental Supersports leads in sheer torque and high-speed stability, making it the superior choice for the long, straight highways between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Its 90-litre fuel tank provides a longer touring range than many Italian competitors, and its cabin insulation is specifically engineered to remain whisper-quiet even at the 336 km/h top speed.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 700 hp W12 typically averages around 16–18 L/100km, though this can rise significantly in stop-start traffic in Riyadh or Dubai. Bentley recommends a service every 16,000 km or 12 months, and the UAE has one of the most robust authorized Bentley service networks in the world. While European luxury cars generally see a 12–15% annual depreciation in the GCC, the Supersports trim has historically shown better value retention due to its limited production status and the discontinuation of the W12 engine.

Performance & Capability

The 700 hp W12 engine delivers a massive 1,017 Nm of torque, allowing for effortless highway overtaking at any speed. The revised ZF 8-speed transmission and rear-biased all-wheel-drive system provide a more athletic feel than the standard GT, though it retains the famous Bentley 'magic carpet' ride quality. Standard carbon-ceramic rotors ensure fade-free braking performance even in the extreme 45°C+ temperatures of the Arabian summer.

Comfort & Cabin

This four-seat coupe features a cabin hand-finished in Crewe, utilizing high-grade leathers and Alcantara that resist heat better than standard synthetic materials. The multi-zone climate control is specifically designed to handle rapid cabin cooling in desert conditions. Despite its performance focus, it retains a usable boot and deep, ventilated seats that make it a genuine daily-driver option for the executive commuter.

Safety

Safety is managed by a comprehensive suite of active systems, including high-performance stability control recalibrated for the Supersports' increased power. It features 360-degree parking sensors and a rearview camera to assist in tight city parking, along with a robust airbag system and advanced traction management that provides confidence on sand-dusted highway surfaces.

The bottom line

This is a rare opportunity to own a low-mileage, GCC-spec example of the most powerful Bentley of its generation, offering supercar performance in a package built for the ultimate Middle Eastern road trip.
