Summary

This 2019 Ford Mustang GT Premium is an exceptional find for GCC enthusiasts, combining legendary American muscle with high-spec comfort features. With its silver exterior—one of the most heat-reflective and high-resale colors in the region—it stands out as a practical yet thrilling daily driver. The 2019 model year is highly regarded for its 10-speed automatic transmission, which offers a massive improvement in highway efficiency and overtaking response compared to older units. As a Premium trim, it bridges the gap between raw track performance and executive comfort, making it ideal for the long highway stretches between Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This specific car offers a well-maintained entry point into V8 ownership with a mileage profile that aligns perfectly with the UAE's high-utilization driving culture.

This Car vs Other 2019 Mustangs

With just over 50,000 km on the odometer, this Mustang has been driven significantly less than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average seen in the GCC. While many examples in the market are standard GTs, the Silver Metallic finish on this unit is a strategic advantage for local resale, as it masks desert dust effectively and maintains high demand in the used market.

GT PREMIUM vs Lower Trims

The GT Premium trim is a significant step up from the base GT, adding essential GCC comfort features like leather-trimmed ventilated and heated front seats. It also includes the SYNC 3 infotainment system with a larger touchscreen and a premium 9-speaker audio system, providing a much more refined cabin experience for long summer drives than the base cloth-interior models.

Mustang vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Dodge Challenger, the Mustang offers a more nimble chassis and a more modern 10-speed transmission, making it better suited for city navigation and fast-moving highway traffic. It also provides a better balance of daily tech and interior ergonomics than the Chevrolet Camaro, particularly in terms of outward visibility and ease of use in multi-lane traffic.

Running Costs & Resale

The 5.0L Coyote V8 is known for its mechanical durability in extreme heat, provided it follows the recommended 10,000 km service intervals. Real-world fuel consumption for this 10-speed automatic typically averages around 12.1 L/100km, which is efficient for its class during highway cruising. Ford's extensive service network across the UAE and KSA ensures parts are readily available and affordable compared to European sports coupes.

Performance & Capability

The 435 hp V8 engine delivers a mechanical soundtrack that is now rare in a world of turbocharging, pushing the car to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The SelectShift 10-speed automatic is the highlight here, offering lightning-fast downshifts for immediate overtaking power on the E11. Rear-wheel drive dynamics paired with selectable drive modes allow you to tune the steering and throttle response for either comfortable commuting or spirited weekend drives.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the GT Premium cabin is designed to combat the Gulf heat with a powerful dual-zone climate control system and cooled seats. The 4-seat configuration offers enough space for occasional passengers or extra cabin storage, while ambient lighting allows for a customized evening atmosphere. Acoustic glass helps isolate the cabin from road noise, making it a surprisingly quiet grand tourer when not under heavy acceleration.

Safety

This Mustang comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including electronic stability control, traction control, and multiple airbags designed for coupe-specific protection. Standard features like the rearview camera and post-collision braking system provide peace of mind in high-density urban traffic, while the Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) is a vital tool for the fast-paced lane changes typical of GCC highways.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the unmistakable roar of an American V8 without sacrificing modern cabin luxuries, this low-mileage GT Premium in high-resale silver is the smartest way to enter the Mustang legacy in the UAE.
