Summary

This 2022 Ford Mustang offers a modern take on the iconic American muscle car, balancing spirited performance with impressive daily usability. With approximately 56,800 km on the clock, its mileage is significantly lower than the typical 20,000–25,000 km annual average found in the UAE market, making it a standout choice for long-term ownership. The crisp white exterior is a top-tier choice for the GCC region, known for both heat reflection and high resale demand. While this is an American spec model, it provides the full Mustang experience with a fuel-efficient turbocharged engine that handles highway cruising with ease. It is a sharp, reliable, and accessible entry point for those seeking a modern sports coupe in the Gulf.

This Car vs Other 2022 Mustangs

With just 56,832 km, this vehicle sits well below the typical mileage expected for a two-year-old car in the UAE, where long-distance commuting is the norm. While many available units are V8 models that demand higher running costs, this 2.3L variant offers a more practical balance for daily driving. The white exterior is a strategic advantage in the local used market, as it remains the most sought-after color for heat management and resale stability.

STANDARD vs Lower Trims

The Standard EcoBoost trim for 2022 comes equipped with essential modern tech that elevates it above basic entry-level sports cars, including Ford Co-Pilot360 safety features and LED lighting as standard. While lower-spec or older generations lacked refined driver assistance, this model includes lane-keeping systems and blind-spot monitoring which are vital for UAE highway traffic. It also features a 10-speed automatic transmission that provides smoother shifting and better highway efficiency than the manual alternatives.

Mustang vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Chevrolet Camaro 2.0L or the Dodge Challenger, the Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost leads with a superior balance of horsepower and chassis agility. Its 61-liter fuel tank is well-suited for long stretches like the Dubai-Riyadh run, offering better range than many V8-powered competitors. The interior tech and safety suite in the 2022 Mustang are generally more modern than those found in the ageing Challenger platform, providing a more refined experience for city commuting.

Running Costs & Resale

The 2.3L EcoBoost engine is highly efficient for its class, averaging approximately 9.7 L/100km on the highway, a major benefit given the long-distance nature of GCC travel. As an American spec vehicle, it typically enters the market at a more accessible price point than GCC spec equivalents, though buyers should ensure a local service history is maintained. Authorized Ford service centers are widely available across major GCC cities like Dubai, Riyadh, and Abu Dhabi, ensuring parts for this popular platform are easily accessible.

Performance & Capability

Propelled by 310 hp and 475 Nm of torque, this Mustang delivers a 0–100 km/h time of just 5.3 seconds, providing ample power for quick highway overtaking. The 10-speed automatic transmission is specifically tuned to keep the engine in its power band while cruising at high speeds, offering a stable and quiet ride on the E11. Rear-wheel drive dynamics ensure the traditional sports car feel that enthusiasts in the region expect from the Mustang nameplate.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed around a driver-centric layout with four seats, making it a viable 2+2 for occasional passengers or extra storage. The powerful air conditioning system is a Ford hallmark, capable of cooling the interior quickly even during the peak of a GCC summer. Acoustic insulation helps minimize road noise during long desert drives, while the modern infotainment setup ensures seamless connectivity for daily errands.

Safety

This Mustang comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360, including blind-spot monitoring (BLIS) and cross-traffic alert, which are invaluable for navigating multi-lane highways. It also features lane-keeping assist and pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking. With a 5-star overall safety rating from the NHTSA, it provides peace of mind for both spirited weekend drives and the daily school or office run.

The bottom line

This low-mileage 2022 Mustang is the perfect match for a buyer who wants iconic American styling and performance without the high fuel overhead of a V8. Its excellent color and below-average mileage make it one of the most practical sports car opportunities currently available in the UAE market.
