Summary

This 2019 Nissan Patrol NISMO offers a rare combination of motorsport-inspired engineering and the legendary durability of the Y62 platform. With 94,000 km on the clock, this GCC-spec example has been driven significantly less than the typical high-mileage cruisers found in the region, preserving its mechanical tighteness for the next owner. The White exterior is the most sought-after color for resale in the UAE, ensuring it holds its value while reflecting the intense Gulf sun. As a NISMO-tuned flagship, it delivers a more engaging driving experience than any standard SUV in its class without sacrificing the eight-seat practicality needed for large families. For a GCC buyer, this represents the peak of Japanese reliability paired with genuine performance credentials.

This Car vs Other 2019 Nissan Patrols

At 94,000 km, this vehicle sits well below the average for a 2019 model in the GCC, where annual mileage often exceeds 25,000 km. While many five-year-old Patrols are approaching major overhauls, this example remains in a prime window for long-term ownership. The White finish further strengthens its position, as it remains the highest-demand color in the local used market.

NISMO vs Lower Trims

The NISMO trim is a significant mechanical upgrade over the LE Platinum, featuring a Takumi-tuned V8 engine that produces 428 hp—a notable bump over the standard 400 hp. It rides on NISMO-specific 22-inch forged alloy wheels and a Bilstein-tuned sport suspension that significantly reduces body roll during highway cornering. Inside, you receive signature NISMO red accents and a specialized Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel that isn't available on lower variants.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser VXR, the Patrol NISMO offers a more driver-centric experience with a lower center of gravity and sharper steering response. Its 140-litre fuel tank provides a superior cruising range for long-distance desert crossings compared to European rivals like the BMW X7. Furthermore, its eight-seat configuration offers genuine third-row utility that outclasses the tighter seating found in the Cadillac Escalade.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the NISMO-tuned 5.6L V8 averages approximately 14.5L/100km, though this can rise in heavy GCC city traffic. Maintenance is straightforward thanks to one of the most extensive authorized service networks in the Middle East, with major intervals typically occurring every 10,000 km. The Patrol nameplate enjoys legendary value retention in the GCC, often depreciating at only 8-10% annually, significantly outperforming luxury European SUVs.

Performance & Capability

The 428 hp V8 engine allows this 2.8-ton SUV to reach 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds, providing effortless overtaking power on the E11 highway. While tuned for the road, it retains a sophisticated 4WD system with selectable modes for sand and rock, plus a factory locking rear differential for weekend adventures. The NISMO aerodynamic kit is specifically designed to increase downforce at high speeds, ensuring stability during long cross-border drives.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is a sanctuary against the GCC heat, featuring a powerful multi-zone climate control system with dedicated vents for all three rows and ventilated front seats as standard. A 13-speaker Bose premium audio system provides exceptional clarity, while the built-in cool box in the center console is an essential feature for UAE summers. The eight-seat layout is flexible, allowing the third row to fold flat for massive cargo capacity during family road trips.

Safety

This NISMO edition is equipped with the full Nissan Intelligent Mobility suite, including Intelligent Cruise Control and Blind Spot Warning, which are vital for fast-moving multi-lane traffic. It also features a 360-degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection to simplify parking this large SUV in tight urban spaces. A total of six airbags and a high-strength body-on-frame construction provide robust protection for all eight occupants.

The bottom line

This NISMO is the perfect choice for the enthusiast who needs a reliable family eight-seater but refuses to drive a standard SUV. With its low mileage and GCC-spec pedigree, it is one of the most compelling performance-SUV opportunities currently on the market.
