Summary

This 2020 Range Rover Evoque R-DYNAMIC SE P250 is a standout find in the UAE market, pairing the assertive R-Dynamic exterior styling with a mileage that sits comfortably below the typical GCC annual average. Finished in a bold red that offers strong visibility and character on the road, it features the refined 249 hp Ingenium engine that balances city agility with steady highway performance. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it provides the essential cooling and filtration systems required for the region’s extreme summer heat. For a buyer seeking a luxury crossover that feels current and capable without the steep depreciation of a brand-new showroom model, this listing represents a balanced opportunity.

This Car vs Other 2020 Range Rover Evoques

With 77,000 km on the clock, this Evoque has been driven approximately 15,000–16,000 km per year, which is notably lower than the 20,000–25,000 km typically seen in the GCC. This lower usage translates to less wear on the suspension and interior components, a significant advantage for long-term reliability. The red exterior is a vibrant choice that helps the car stand out in a market dominated by white and silver, while the GCC regional specification ensures it remains fully compatible with local authorized service centers for easier maintenance and higher resale trust.

R-DYNAMIC SE P250 vs Lower Trims

The R-Dynamic SE trim is a major step up from the base S model, most notably adding the Touch Pro Duo infotainment system with dual 10-inch screens for a truly modern cockpit feel. It also upgrades the exterior with more aggressive R-Dynamic bumpers and 20-inch alloy wheels that provide a more commanding presence. GCC buyers will particularly appreciate the inclusion of the 360° Surround Camera system and Park Assist, which are invaluable for navigating tight mall parking and busy urban streets.

Range Rover Evoque vs Segment Rivals

The Evoque is frequently cross-shopped with the BMW X1 and Audi Q3, but it leads the segment in genuine off-road hardware. Unlike its German rivals, the Land Rover features Terrain Response 2 as standard, allowing it to adapt to sand and gravel surfaces common during weekend escapes. It also offers a higher wading depth of 600 mm, providing superior peace of mind during the flash flooding sometimes seen in the UAE's winter months.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the P250 powertrain typically averages around 10.2 L/100km, which is efficient for an all-wheel-drive SUV in stop-start city traffic. Maintenance in the GCC is straightforward through a wide network of authorized centers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, with recommended service intervals of 13,000 km or 12 months. While European luxury SUVs depreciate faster than Japanese alternatives, the Evoque's iconic design and GCC-spec status help it retain a premium over non-regional imports in the local second-hand market.

Performance & Capability

The P250 engine delivers 249 hp and 365 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 230 km/h. This power is perfectly suited for confident overtaking on high-speed motorways like the E11. Beyond the pavement, the 212 mm ground clearance and All-Terrain Progress Control ensure it can handle light desert trails and sandy approaches to beach spots where competitors might struggle. The nine-speed automatic transmission is tuned for smoothness, ensuring long drives between emirates remain relaxed and quiet.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Evoque offers a 5-seat layout finished with premium materials that remain well-insulated from the GCC's ambient heat. The dual-zone climate control is engineered to handle 45°C+ temperatures, featuring rear air vents to ensure all passengers stay cool. Standard features on the SE trim include memory settings for the front seats and a power liftgate for added daily convenience. The cabin's acoustic glass significantly reduces wind noise, making it an excellent environment for enjoying the premium audio system during long highway commutes.

Safety

This trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite, including Lane Keep Assist, Driver Condition Monitor, and High-Speed Emergency Braking. The Clear Exit Monitor is a standout feature for families, alerting passengers to approaching traffic before they open the doors. For highway driving, the Blind Spot Assist and Rear Traffic Monitor provide essential layers of protection in the fast-moving, multi-lane traffic common across the UAE.

The bottom line

This is an ideal choice for a professional or small family who wants the prestige and off-road DNA of a Range Rover in a city-friendly package. Given its well-maintained mileage and high SE specification, it offers a stylish and reliable entry into the luxury SUV segment.
