Summary

This 2021 Lexus LX570 in White represents the pinnacle of the final production year for the legendary third-generation LX, making it a highly sought-after piece of automotive engineering. With 119,500 km, the mileage is exactly what is expected for a five-year-old GCC cruiser that has likely balanced urban commutes with long-distance highway travel. The Signature Exclusive trim is the most comprehensive specification available, offering a level of interior refinement that rivals executive jets while maintaining the bulletproof mechanical DNA of the Land Cruiser. For the GCC buyer, this model remains the gold standard for reliable luxury, offering a combination of prestige and desert-conquering capability that newer turbocharged rivals struggle to match. Its exceptional resale value and massive service network make it the most logical investment in the full-size luxury SUV segment.

This Car vs Other 2021 LX570s

At five years old with 119,500 km, this LX570 sits right at the average mileage for a GCC-spec vehicle, indicating consistent use and likely regular maintenance at authorized centers. The White exterior is the single strongest resale color in the region, ensuring the highest possible liquidity and value retention when it comes time to upgrade. While some 2021 models are basic three-row versions, this Signature Exclusive unit carries the full suite of luxury and performance enhancements.

SIGNATURE EXCLUSIVE vs Lower Trims

The Signature Exclusive trim elevates the LX570 by adding the complete Sport Package aesthetics, including the black-accented spindle grille and unique front and rear spoilers. Inside, it upgrades the cabin with semi-aniline diamond-stitched leather and the 19-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, which is a significant leap over the standard 9-speaker setup. It also includes the Rear Seat Entertainment system with dual 11.6-inch screens and the essential Cool Box, features often missing on lower-tier trims.

LX570 vs Segment Rivals

Compared to the Cadillac Escalade or the BMW X7, the LX570 leads with its superior body-on-frame durability and a naturally aspirated V8 that is far better suited to extreme GCC heat. Its 138-litre dual fuel tank system provides a massive highway range that exceeds most competitors, making it the preferred choice for cross-border trips. While rivals may offer more screen real estate, the Lexus provides a level of off-road hardware—like hydraulic height control—that others simply cannot match.

Running Costs & Resale

Lexus maintains the best resale value in the GCC luxury market, typically depreciating far slower than European competitors. The 5.7L V8 is designed for longevity and handles local fuel grades with ease, though city fuel consumption reflects the vehicle's massive footprint and power. Service intervals are every 10,000 km, and with one of the most extensive authorized service networks across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman, maintenance is exceptionally convenient.

Performance & Capability

The 383 hp V8 provides a smooth, linear power delivery that is perfect for high-speed highway overtaking and effortless sand dune climbing. This model features a specialized Multi-Terrain Select system and Crawl Control, allowing it to navigate deep sand or rocky wadis with the push of a button. The adaptive variable suspension adjusts in real-time to provide a 'magic carpet' ride on tarmac while offering up to 225 mm of ground clearance for off-road excursions.

Comfort & Cabin

This eight-seater configuration features a four-zone Climate Concierge system, which is arguably the most powerful AC in the segment, essential for the peak GCC summer. Both front and second-row seats are ventilated and heated, ensuring year-round comfort for all passengers. The cabin is exceptionally well-insulated from exterior wind and road noise, creating a serene environment complemented by the ambient lighting and premium wood trim.

Safety

The Lexus Safety System+ comes standard, featuring Pre-Collision System with pedestrian detection, Lane Departure Alert, and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control for relaxed highway driving. A 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor is crucial for maneuvering this large SUV in tight city parking, while ten airbags and Blind Spot Monitoring provide comprehensive protection.

The bottom line

This is the definitive choice for a family or executive looking for the final, most refined version of the classic V8 Lexus experience before the transition to smaller engines—reliable, prestigious, and perfectly suited to the GCC lifestyle.
