Summary

This 5-year-old Lexus LX570 Signature represents the final and most refined chapter of the legendary V8 era, a vehicle that commands unparalleled respect across the GCC. With the Signature trim, you are getting the most exclusive styling package available, featuring the distinct mesh grille and darkened accents that significantly boost its curb appeal and resale value. Its mileage is perfectly aligned with typical highway use in the region, ensuring the mechanical components have been kept at optimal operating temperatures. For a buyer in the UAE or Saudi Arabia, this model stands out as the ultimate balance between boardroom prestige and desert-conquering reliability. Owning an LX570 in this market means enjoying the strongest value retention of any luxury SUV while having access to a service network that covers every corner of the peninsula.

This Car vs Other 2021 LX570s

With 119,500 km on the odometer, this vehicle sits exactly where a well-maintained GCC flagship should be after 5 years of use, reflecting the region's long-distance driving culture. Unlike lower-mileage examples that may have sat idle, this car has been consistently driven, which is ideal for the longevity of its air suspension and cooling systems. The white exterior is the most sought-after color in the local used market, offering superior heat reflection and ensuring the highest possible liquidity when it comes time to resell.

SIGNATURE vs Lower Trims

The Signature trim is a significant step up from the standard and Platinum versions, adding the aggressive 'Signature' mesh grille and a bespoke aero-style bumper kit that defines its flagship status. Inside, it upgrades the experience with semi-aniline leather upholstery and the 19-speaker Mark Levinson Reference Surround Sound system as standard. GCC-essential features like the cooled center console box and ventilated front and second-row seats are also guaranteed on this top-tier specification.

LX570 vs Segment Rivals

While rivals like the Range Rover or Cadillac Escalade offer newer digital interfaces, the LX570 leads the segment in sheer mechanical durability and off-road hardware, featuring a Torsen limited-slip center differential and hydraulic height control. Its massive 138-litre fuel capacity provides a touring range that few competitors can match, making it the preferred choice for cross-border drives between Dubai and Riyadh. The Lexus also boasts a superior air conditioning system specifically engineered to maintain cabin frostiness even in 50°C summer heat.

Running Costs & Resale

The LX570 is famous for having the lowest depreciation rate in the luxury SUV segment, typically retaining much more of its value over three years than its European counterparts. Fuel consumption for the 5.7L V8 averages around 14.4 L/100km, a trade-off for its legendary reliability and ability to run comfortably on local fuel grades. Service intervals are standard at 10,000 km, and with the massive Al-Futtaim and Al-Sayer networks, parts are available at every major service center across the UAE and the wider GCC.

Performance & Capability

The 383 hp V8 provides a smooth, linear power delivery that makes highway overtaking effortless and provides 546 Nm of torque for climbing deep dunes. It is equipped with Lexus Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control, allowing it to navigate technical off-road terrain that would stop most other luxury crossovers. On the road, the Adaptive Variable Suspension constantly adjusts to eliminate body roll, providing a 'magic carpet' ride quality even on the UAE's varying road surfaces.

Comfort & Cabin

This seven-seat cabin is a sanctuary of quietness thanks to extensive acoustic glass and insulation designed to block out both road noise and desert heat. Passengers in the rear benefit from dedicated climate zones and factory-fitted entertainment screens, ensuring comfort on long family road trips. The Signature's interior is finished with hand-crafted wood trim and soft-touch materials that have proven to withstand the intense UV exposure typical of the GCC climate.

Safety

Standard on the Signature trim is the Lexus Safety System+, which includes Pre-Collision System with pedestrian detection and All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, ideal for the high-speed highway traffic between emirates. It also features a 360-degree Panoramic View Monitor and Multi-Terrain Monitor, giving the driver a bird's-eye view of obstacles whether parking in a tight mall space or navigating a rocky wadi. Ten airbags and Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert provide comprehensive protection for all seven occupants.

The bottom line

For the buyer who demands a bulletproof luxury icon that holds its value like currency, this Signature edition LX570 is the most sensible and prestigious investment in the GCC market today.
