Summary

This 2023 Mustang offers a compelling mix of modern muscle styling and efficient daily performance, with mileage sitting right at the expected average for a three-year-old vehicle in the GCC. The Black exterior is a top-tier choice for the local market, ensuring strong resale demand and a timeless look on UAE roads. As a GT Premium trim, it bridges the gap between raw power and executive comfort, making it an ideal choice for those who want the iconic fastback silhouette without the high fuel costs of a V8. With 300 hp on tap and a 10-speed automatic, it provides plenty of punch for highway overtaking while remaining manageable in city traffic. This is a versatile, high-spec coupe that balances enthusiast appeal with practical ownership costs.

This Car vs Other 2023 Mustangs

With 45,500 km on the odometer, this Mustang has been driven roughly 15,000 km per year, which is significantly lower than the typical 20,000–25,000 km GCC average for this segment. The Black paint is among the most sought-after colors in the UAE used market, giving this specific car a distinct edge in value retention. While the American regional spec is common, the low mileage makes it a standout entry for buyers seeking a newer-model feel.

GT Premium vs Lower Trims

The GT Premium trim is a significant step up, adding essential GCC comforts like ventilated and heated leather-trimmed front seats and a premium 9-speaker sound system. It also features the 8-inch SYNC 3 touchscreen with full Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, which is often an optional upgrade or missing on base EcoBoost models. You also benefit from selectable drive modes and ambient lighting, transforming the cabin from a basic cockpit into a refined touring environment.

Mustang vs Segment Rivals

The Mustang EcoBoost leads rivals like the Chevrolet Camaro 2.0T and BMW 4 Series in pure iconic presence and aftermarket support in the Middle East. It offers a more compliant ride for long-distance cruising between emirates compared to the stiffer setup of the Nissan Z, while providing a larger trunk for weekend road trips. The Ford's 2.3L engine provides a superior balance of torque and fuel efficiency that is hard to beat for a daily-driven coupe.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel economy is efficient for a sports car, averaging 9.8 L/100km, which is vital for the long highway commutes typical in the region. As an American spec car, parts are widely available at specialized retailers across the UAE, though buyers should note that authorized Ford service centers in the GCC may have different warranty policies for imported models. Mustang resale remains robust in the UAE, typically seeing a 10-15% annual depreciation, which is stable for the sports coupe category.

Performance & Capability

The 2.3L EcoBoost engine delivers 310 hp and 475 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 5.8 seconds. This performance is managed by a smooth 10-speed automatic transmission that keeps the engine in its power band whether you are merging onto the E11 or navigating city streets. With Rear Wheel Drive and selectable drive modes, you can sharpen the throttle response and steering weight to suit spirited weekend drives.

Comfort & Cabin

Inside, the Premium trim offers 4 seats in a 2+2 configuration with high-quality leather upholstery that stays cooler in the summer thanks to integrated seat ventilation. The dual-zone automatic climate control is powerful enough to handle 45°C+ temperatures, while the acoustic-laminated windshield helps isolate the cabin from wind noise during high-speed highway travel. The digital instrument cluster and smartphone integration ensure the tech suite feels current and intuitive.

Safety

This Mustang comes equipped with Ford Co-Pilot360, including Blind Spot Monitoring with Cross-Traffic Alert, which is essential for safely navigating the fast-moving multi-lane highways of Dubai and Riyadh. Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and a Lane-Keeping System provide additional peace of mind during long desert drives. The car also features a comprehensive 8-airbag system and electronic stability control to maintain composure on varied road surfaces.

The bottom line

This 2023 Mustang is the perfect entry point for a GCC buyer who wants the premium features and iconic looks of a modern muscle car with lower running costs and excellent resale potential.
