Summary

This 2022 Nissan Patrol NISMO represents the peak of the Y62 generation, offering a track-inspired take on a GCC legend. While its mileage reflects the typical high-use pattern of the region's vast highways, the NISMO's exclusive Takumi-tuned engine and Bilstein suspension make it a far sharper drive than the standard Platinum trims. In the popular White finish, it holds a significant resale advantage in the used market, appealing to enthusiasts who prioritize performance and presence. This specific listing offers a chance to own a flagship that was engineered specifically for the extreme demands and high-speed commutes of the Middle East.

This Car vs Other 2022 Patrols

At 165,000 km, this vehicle has been a consistent highway companion, which is typical for large SUVs in the GCC where annual use often exceeds 25,000 km. While the mileage is higher than average, the NISMO trim is built with reinforced components and a hand-tuned engine designed for durability. The White exterior is the most sought-after color for resale in the UAE and Saudi markets, ensuring it remains a liquid asset compared to darker shades.

NISMO vs Lower Trims

The NISMO sits above the LE Platinum City, adding 28 hp through a hand-tuned 'Takumi' V8 engine and a specialized aerodynamic body kit that reduces lift. Beyond power, it features Nismo-tuned Bilstein shock absorbers for significantly improved cornering stability and exclusive 22-inch forged alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin is upgraded with Alcantara-wrapped upholstery and a unique red-themed digital cluster not found on lower grades.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

The Patrol NISMO competes directly with the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 GR-Sport and the Cadillac Escalade. It leads the segment in high-speed stability thanks to its functional aerodynamic kit and wide-track suspension. For long-distance GCC travelers, the 140-litre fuel tank provides a significantly longer cruising range than many European competitors, making it the preferred choice for cross-border drives.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 5.6L V8 typically ranges between 16–18 L/100 km in mixed GCC conditions, though highway cruising can be more efficient. As a GCC-spec vehicle, it benefits from the region's most extensive authorized service network, with parts readily available in every major city. The NISMO trim maintains strong value retention, typically holding 60-70% of its value after three years, outperforming most European performance SUVs.

Performance & Capability

With 428 hp and a 0–100 km/h time of 6.5 seconds, this is one of the fastest naturally aspirated SUVs in the region. The four-wheel-drive system includes a locking rear differential and selectable terrain modes, ensuring it remains highly capable for desert weekends despite its road-focused NISMO tuning. The sports-tuned exhaust provides a signature V8 growl that defines the NISMO experience on UAE highways.

Comfort & Cabin

The interior features a 7-seat layout with ventilated front seats and a powerful tri-zone climate control system engineered for 50°C summers. Tech highlights include a 13-speaker Bose premium audio system and a factory-integrated cool box accessible from both the first and second rows. The cabin uses acoustic glass and extra insulation to maintain a quiet environment even at high cruising speeds.

Safety

Standard safety equipment includes a full suite of Nissan Intelligent Mobility features such as Intelligent Cruise Control, Blind Spot Intervention, and a 360-degree Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection. For highway safety, it features Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Intervention, which are essential for navigating fast-moving multi-lane traffic in cities like Dubai and Riyadh.

The bottom line

For the buyer who wants the ultimate presence and performance of a hand-tuned V8 without sacrificing Nissan's legendary GCC reliability, this NISMO is a standout choice.
