Summary

This 4-year-old Patrol sits in the sweet spot for GCC buyers, combining the high-demand white exterior with the practical SE T2 equipment level. As a regional icon, this model is specifically engineered to maintain cabin cooling and mechanical composure during extreme summer heats. The 4.0L V6 offers a balanced approach to the Patrol's legendary footprint, providing sufficient power for daily highway use while being more manageable in stop-start city traffic than the larger V8. With 8-seat capacity and Nissan's robust four-wheel-drive system, it remains a top-tier choice for families who need genuine off-road capability. This specific listing is a strong find for those looking for a reliable, well-maintained Japanese SUV with the highest resale potential in the UAE market.

This Car vs Other 2022 Patrols

With 73,527 km on the clock, this Patrol's mileage is slightly below the typical GCC average for a 4-year-old vehicle, where annual use often hits 25,000 km. The white exterior is the single most advantageous color for resale in the region, known for reflecting heat and maintaining a clean look in dusty conditions. It offers a fresh, well-preserved alternative to higher-mileage examples often found in the secondary market.

SE T2 vs Lower Trims

The SE T2 is a significant step up from the base XE trim, adding essential GCC comforts like a remote engine starter and a powered tailgate. Technology is greatly enhanced with a 12.3-inch infotainment display featuring wireless Apple CarPlay, alongside a sunroof and functional roof rails. It also introduces the Intelligent Rear View Mirror (I-RVM), which provides a clear camera feed even when the 8-seat cabin is fully occupied.

Patrol vs Segment Rivals

While the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Chevrolet Tahoe are common cross-shops, the Patrol leads with a massive 140-litre fuel tank that is ideal for long-distance desert crossings or trips between Emirates. Its independent double-wishbone suspension provides a more composed on-road ride than many body-on-frame competitors. Additionally, the Nissan service network is one of the most accessible across the entire GCC, ensuring easy maintenance from Riyadh to Muscat.

Running Costs & Resale

Real-world fuel consumption for the 4.0L V6 typically averages around 11.8 L/100km on a combined cycle, though city driving in heavy traffic will see this rise. The Patrol enjoys the strongest resale value in the UAE, often retaining 60-70% of its value even after several years. Service intervals are set at 10,000 km, and parts are readily available at authorized centers and specialized shops throughout the region. The GCC-spec status ensures the cooling system and warranty protections are optimized for local use.

Performance & Capability

The 275 hp V6 engine is paired with a smooth 7-speed automatic transmission, delivering a 0-100 km/h time of approximately 11.5 seconds. While built for comfort, it remains a serious off-roader with a 273 mm ground clearance and a dedicated low-range transfer case for sand dunes. Its 3,500 kg braked towing capacity makes it a versatile tool for hauling boats or trailers during weekend getaways.

Comfort & Cabin

The cabin is designed for large family logistics, offering a genuinely usable third row for a total of eight passengers. Tri-zone climate control with dedicated rear cooling vents is a standout feature, essential for maintaining passenger comfort during peak GCC summer months. The SE T2 trim includes a cooled center console, perfect for keeping beverages chilled during long highway drives across the desert.

Safety

This trim comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including front and side airbags, ABS with Brake Assist, and Vehicle Dynamic Control. Crucial for GCC highways, it features front and rear parking sensors coupled with a high-definition rear-view camera to manage its large dimensions in tight spaces. The body-on-frame construction provides a robust safety cell, while the tire pressure monitoring system helps ensure safety during high-temperature driving.

The bottom line

Perfect for the Emirati family or the expat adventurer, this GCC-spec Patrol offers the ideal balance of feature-rich technology and the region's best resale color. It is a rare opportunity to own a mid-mileage, high-trim V6 that is mechanically tailored for the local environment.
